It's been used in temperatures between 24F and 32F Temperature of 3C and the weather 2 days later an update is available While going downhill pretty fast, I hit a rock so hard that the sled stopped and I got a bruise on my upper hip, which made me limp (I weigh 200 pounds The sled had not cracked at all, it only got a large depletion in the bottom (1 inch deep) and some scratches, and after it was in a warm location, the depletion went out. In an area where we were sledding, there was a pile of tubes and sleds that had been broken. My husband and I are very pleased with the purchase, this is the second year we have had them.
I hope I can answer your question, but I am still in the process of This is the first time I have ever bought these sleds. It seemed like the one was going straight every time, and neither of them slid as well as I had expected. I am once again sorry.
Several weeks before Christmas, I placed my order. A week after arriving, the shipment arrived.
I am unable to assist you. The sleds were bought two at a time. The first time they were on the water, they cracked and broke. The sleds I was looking at were expensive, so I assumed I would be buying a heavy-duty model. The opposite is true.

In the mountains of West Virginia, we used these for a sledding trip over New Year's The time I spent with them was great. The person or persons involved could be just one person, two people, or myself and my dog (to assist in pulling it back to the side of The material held up We had four days of sledding in subzero temperatures (below zero Fahrenheit) and it was still going strong. There are four adults, three kids, a Golden Retriever, a Labrador, and a German Shepherd Dog all in favor.
Reviews claimed that these would not last a minute and that they would break after one ride. Because I am one of those hard learners (and took plenty of video to use as evidence if these reviews are correct), I went ahead and bought the pair of SR Sleds anyway. I was shocked at how wrong those reviewers were! The kids use these sleds to the hilt since Nov 14, when we received a lot of snow. (March 2015) Since then, they've spent many snow days riding them Their cars have crashed into garbage containers (lightly), into each other (my sons think demolition derby will be a great game in fresh snow) and even bumped into their father while he was talking to one of their neighbors without even damaging the car! Despite going through many scratches on their way down our sloped hills, these sleds have turned out without warping, cracking or denting after continuous sledding for hours at a time. As a note, I will mention that one board began to perform as quickly as the other, however I think it was due to a little shipping bending-- But after about 3 hours of uninterrupted sledding, that kink was worked out. We shaped the sleds to be the same weight and shape, and smoothed the ride. We enjoy riding with the kids individually and together as well as with an adult (a grandparent, a father, It would be a lie to say that I haven't hopped on my own sled and had a couple of rides! All in all, I believe that the pair of SR sled is an excellent purchase that will keep kids and adults alike entertained for a long time.
I found these to be of good quality and at a good price. Winter vacations are the only time we spend in the snow since we don't live in the snow. There wasn't a lot of snow needed we just needed enough so that two boys (9 and 12 years old) could have some fun. All weekend long, the boys beat on the sleds, and they survived for another run (both sleds and It's true that the molded plastic is more flexible than you might expect (and other reviewers have included this in their descriptions), but it didn't cause a problem for my kids, and the sleds were big enough that my wife and I had no trouble Finally, the price point of the pair was significantly lower than that of many competitors' single sleds, and that was the deciding Overall, I was happy with the purchase for the price.
It also fit me fine with a baby in it at the same time. I can't complain too much about the price. The crew did the job when we travelled to the mountains a few months ago and they didn't break it. A child and an adult can ride in it at the same time fine. I rode in it just fine too, and I'm not small! I am a relatively short man (nearly 6', 250 pounds). With this, you will be able to slide really fast!.
We took them out this past weekend to the pass. Despite the fact that it was not fresh snow, it was extremely slippery. There were some round rocks smaller than a fist and a softball just below the snow. My 180 lbs managed to punch a hole in the bottom of the sled with my weight on the sled. My lighter friends went over them fine. As a result, the sled is a complete mess, and I was totally to blame for not paying attention to I loved riding these sleds and found them to be extremely While the terrain was rough and rutted on the icy parts, we came up with decent air and the sleds held up really well. As it was 37 degrees, it wasn't as cold as you might expect.
The 6 and 9 year old girls in my family both received two of these as Christmas gifts. The winter has so far been mild in central Iowa, with only a couple of snow falls. The sleds had been stored for a month and they used them for the first time a month later, and the bottoms of both sleds crack and break. Nothing hit or hurt them while they were running. The first of our six year olds broke apart. I thought they would at least last a season.
I would recommend this if you live in the south and want a sled to use when it snows. They made a great, well-received Christmas present for our 3 kids (ages 5 and 2 for twins) to be prepared in case there was any snow, and they were sure glad they got them. They have held up great without any breaks for the family and I for a full week. I found it unbelievable that there was snow in Mississippi for a week. This is a great ride for kids and adults from 2 to 69 years old. Adults as tall as 6 feet can have as much fun, if not more, than kids as tall as those. The guy who told me where he could get some was so impressed he asked where he could get it. Speed and lightness are the hallmarks of these sleds. Designed to be lightweight enough that children can pull themselves back up a hill by themselves!.
All of us, adults and children, had a blast sledding. Their size makes them ideal for seating two people at a time. We couldn't believe that our 6 year old son, who weighs 50 pounds, could fit on the sled with my husband, who is 6'3" and 265 pounds. We will remain delighted with these lightweight and durable sleds for many.
