Questions & Answers

How big are the Vice bindings from 22 Designs?

They come in two sizes, as far as I'm aware; One is for boots with a size less than 9 and the other is for boots with a size greater than 9. Whoever or wherever you order them from should be able to tell you what size you require. For your classic 75 mm tele boots, this binding is a must-have!

This is an excellent telemark ski binding for beginners
5/5

This is the second time I've purchased a pair of these bindings. The binding is sturdily constructed and long-lasting. They are in perfect working order. This binding is designed for use in lift-related applications, according to the manufacturer. ski environments that have been served To put it another way, it's not designed for skiing. It can, however, tour reasonably well in limited situations if you accept the limitations. It takes the traditional "duckbill" boot sole of 75mm. It easily adjusts for boot length and provides solid ski control. This binding, in my opinion, is excellent for honing your telemark or freestyle skills. Techniques for heel skiing are also suitable for skiers who do not require extensive touring skills but enjoy freeriding. In ski resorts, heel skiing is popular. This is a fantastic book. It's one of the few remaining 75mm telemark bindings on the market, and it's also one of the best; I use mine at my local ski area for both telemark and parallel skiing. They're a lot of fun and a nice change of pace from my alpine (fixed heel) skis - which I also find to be extremely enjoyable. Keep in mind that if you fall, the "free heels" and flexible cables provide a cushion of safety. There isn't a way to get rid of it. You should be able to enjoy them without worry if you exercise caution (speed under control, terrain within your abilities, etc. ).

Telewhacking bindings made for charging the lifts and the backcountry
5/5

These binders are fantastic. Super sturdy, easy to adjust, hardly ever pop off if adjusted correctly, a breeze to put on (unlike so many others), and they keep your boot pretty well aligned laterally, with less squirmy side to side action than the old 3 pins. Yeah, I used to ski on 218 skinny skis with leather lace-ups and three pins. Take a look at how far we've progressed. Some say these aren't designed for touring, but I've done a lot of backcountry touring and charging with them. They're incredibly comfortable!.

This is fantastic! For a long time, I believed that my 22 Designs Hammerheads were the best Telemark binding ever created
5/5

That's because they were so much better than my previous Targa G3s and other bindings. I expected the new 22 Designs Vice binding to be only a slight improvement over the Hammerheads. I was sorely mistaken. My old Hammerheads are no match for these bindings. I've never had a binding provide me with such precision and control. By far, these are my new favorite telemark binding. I only wish I had tried them sooner; I would have gladly paid the extra money to upgrade years ago! br>br>I also strongly advise you to use the "tele mount" position (4cm toward the back of the ski) as recommended by 22 Designs. The majority of ski shops I've worked with use a standard mount, which isn't ideal for telemark skiing.
