As well as hand gloves for walking your dog! Having cold hands (and feet for that matter, but that's not relevant to this review) is always a problem for me. My hands get so cold when I take off my gloves to use my phone that the mild heat of the gloves does not allow for them to defrost quickly. I have heated gloves from Rossignol that I use for skiing. I also wanted a glove to be able to walk my dog every day or do work outside putting up Christmas lights, etc. , so I didn't want to wear ski gloves. The only caveat is that these gloves will not keep your hands warm if it is below freezing. These gloves will simply alleviate the pain of cold and may take the edge off, but not keep your hands warm. Having said that, I didn't expect them to be as warm as they were. Some reviewers seem to imply that the lamps are miraculously warm when in fact they are not. As someone who lives in the mountains of Salt Lake City, it can get quite cold here in the winter, and I have really put them through their paces the last couple of weeks in temperatures ranging from 18 to 45 degrees. Ski gloves are not meant to be used as skinnies, so they work best as glove liners, but they are great everyday gloves if it is not below freezing outside, or if you won't have to keep your gloves in coat pockets for too long. I put them on when I put my Christmas lights up, when I walk my kid to school in the mornings, when I walk my dog in the evenings, and when I walk to work (which is about a 3/4-mile walk since I work at an institution). It's been a great experience so far! The gloves are thin, so they're not appropriate for using as regular gloves, but they're meant to be glove liners, and glove liners need to be thin, so they're okay for their intended use. By the way, the North Face equivalent of these gloves was awful! They fit so much better and have a much better comfort factor! My favorite part of these gloves is the touch screen. It is a game changer and I was even able to create a new thumb print using my iPhone 8 when I wore them so I could open the phone with touch ID. You'll have hit and miss with that. There are times when it works, but it isn't a deal breaker. I may try creating a new fingerprint again and see if it works better this time. It's great that there is even an option for that! As well as those little palm grip dots, I enjoy them as well. I find that these gloves prevent me from dropping my phone when I pull it out of a pocket while wearing them. It is especially important if you are doing it while riding a ski lift, which is usually what I do while on a ski mountain checking my phone for texts. As an aside, I have to say that the little clip intended for hooking the gloves together when not in use is far too big to be practical for a glove liner, and I removed it These gloves are great! I definitely recommend them! These gloves are great for the price, and you would be hard-pressed to find a better liner in this price range! The price for both of them was full price.

Gloves that are good
5/5

The boots aren't suitable for wearing by themselves in the hard parts of winter here in northern Vermont, but once temperatures rise above freezing and into the 40s, yes, these are fine. As well as driving with them, I love them. It is so easy for them to grip the steering wheel. My other gloves do not have much extra room for adding another layer to them so I haven't tried them under other gloves. Those are thicker than silk. Silk is a thin layer on top of those.

Small hands will benefit from these gloves

It is very difficult for me to find gloves that fit my very small hands. This is my favorite pair of sunglasses and I like that they are not bulky or With the grips, the handle is a huge plus.

Having purchased two sets of Dakine storm liners, I highly recommend them. far, I have not noticed any differences between the two, I just wanted to rotate while the cleaners wash one set. In addition to being an excellent light glove by themselves, they fit conveniently beneath heavier snow gloves when weather warrants. I really enjoy their moisture-wicking properties. The drawstring wicks, the inside of the glove is soft and scratchy, and the palm is grippy.

The tips fit perfectly on the touchscreen and are true to size. No shrinking also occurs when they are washed.

There is an issue with the sizing
3/5

There was something wrong with the fit. On both Medium and Large, the fingers were too short. Two pairs I returned after the large was quite large on my palm and back of my hand. It's a pity, because the quality seems great and it seems like they'd.
