The pants I ordered are 2X, but I wear a 20W. I found the waist and rear end to be just right. I had to choose the regular length so the legs were way too long. Due to the suspenders, Amazon was out of shorts. The shorts were very warm and stayed up all day. Only thing wrong with it was that the zipper broke within a few days. Since I cannot zip them up anymore, I can no longer use them. So I came up with a DIY tie closure so I wouldn't have to pay to send them back. These pants are okay for the price, but the zipper is a bit My guess is that you get what you pay for.
