This will be too tight at the hips for a 4X. There needs to be plenty of room in the bibs so that you can move comfortably. The 5X should provide you with the hip room you require. Once that is done, you'll just need to adjust the top
A 6x would probably be appropriate in these as they are normally 3x and 22 jeans I got a 4x in these and it worked so maybe

Quite frankly, I was shocked when I found ski/snow pants in my size. So I ordered them thinking I'll just return them for free! They arrived, but they didn't. Their sizes are right! The first time I wore them over thin pants I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was some stretch in the waist. I was also able to wear super bulky fleece pants under them. These pants are about 35" inseam, which I expected to be a bit short, but again I was pleasantly surprised, and they were a perfect length for me. Snow gaiters are attached to the ankles of each boot to help keep snow out. It was interesting to see how good these pants were at reflecting heat back towards you although they were very thin. bibs/suspenders did a good job, they did not slide. It may have looked like I was an oompa loompa, but I was dry and warm no matter what.
Snow Country Outerwear's size charts are almost never accurate for me, so after reading through the reviews, I tried several sizes and styles. The following product pages contain a review of each item and size, which has been copied to each product page for comparison. Having an extreme pear shape makes me look like A US size 46H / UK size 46FF fits women who are 54-58 cm tall My current measurements are 68 cm, and I usually wear a US women's size 22/24 We also have 2X/3X tops in size 24/26 and 2X/3X pants. Bottoms in sizes 3X/4X. I hope you understood what I meant. It is not written on any size charts that my hips can comfortably fit into size 24 jeans or 3X active pants, yet here I am. The rest of the information about me is that I am 5'6" tall with a 33" inseam, a 21" upper arm, 32" upper leg, and a I am providing all of this information because measurements, body shape, weight distribution, and typical clothing size can determine fit much more effectively than height or weight. ****a. The snow bibs in this size are fantastic! Snow Country Outerwear Women's Plus Size Snow Ski Bibs Overalls Pants, 4X. As it was, I would have given it five stars, except for the hassle of trying on and returning multiple garments due to the inaccurate size chart. * The 4X size is perfect. In Arctic Valley, Alaska, at 10°F, I was warm and dry wearing the jacket as it was comfortable, moved well, and kept me dry. really appreciate the ribbed gussets on the sides, which allow for a comfortable fit and good mobility. The sides of the tent were partially stretched in a standing position, and I had room to slip my arms down in order to adjust the leggings They fit very well and will still fit if I go up or down a little bit in size. The keychain loop ensures that my keys won't fall out when I'm skiing or mountain biking. Even though the elastic openings are much too large (they can be easily fitted over my calf), I appreciate the leg gaiters for keeping snow out of boots. Nonetheless, they stick to my boots when tucked in, and the length of the pant legs is just right. Other than the lower leg pockets and zipper ventilation found on other Snow Country Outerwear garments, nothing else is lacking. In addition to movement, a few words about it With this 4X snow ski bib, I could bend my knees with much less difficulty than with the 5X snow ski pants below (#2a). There are ***
1b. Size 6X Women's Plus Size Snow Ski Bibs Overalls Pants from Snow Country Outerwear! I tried the 6X based on the size chart because I have hips that are 68" wide. Despite my size, I looked comically large in this snow bib. A young kid dressed in adult clothes, what do you think of that? That was how this felt. My partner could have fit inside this snow bib with me. As mentioned above, the fit of these pants was actually between the 5X and 6X (see below - #2a and 2b) with the side gussets not stretched out. The 6X bib was returned and I ordered a 4X bib instead, which fit perfectly. ***
2a. Plus size snow pants from Snow Country Outerwear, size 5X despite the size chart indicating that they would be too small, these pants were still roomy in the waist and hips even after tightening the velcro straps at the waist. I didn't trip over the legs, although they were loosely fitting in the legs and were a little long. I found their knees stiff in a strange way. When I squatted, I struggled to move as easily due to the pant legs which were loose but limited my movement. It was nice to have lower leg pockets and zippers that allowed for air flow in the inner leg. This will be returned and I am going to choose the 4X (number 1a There are ***

2b. Womens plus size Snow Ski Pants by Snow Country Outerwear, size 6X
This was the largest size of any pants and snow bibs I tried on. It was again inaccurate to use the size chart. In spite of my hip measurements being on the top end of the size chart, these snow pants left me with a bad headache. As a result, I returned them and chose the 4X ski bib The following ***
3. A 5X Snow Country Outerwear Ski Coat Jacket that fits tightly in arms and arms will fit snugly in the neck area, but the hip area will be a bit large. If I layer several bulky sweaters underneath it will help fill out the top. There is no denying that this is a well-written piece This jacket is made of high-quality materials and is warm. Features such as its inner pockets, snow skirt, double zipper, and side ventilation zippers (!) are very appealing to me. As with the 6X jacket I tried (#4 below), I wish this jacket had a chest pocket. There are a number of problems with this jacket, including the super long arms, the ninja cuffs that are too big to be useful, and the fat hood. Would you please let me know who designed the hood? It would be nice if this jacket had an outer chest pocket like the 6X (#4). Furthermore, I am unsure of the purpose of the slit above the pocket on the left side of the jacket. Although there is a channel for earbuds, the pocket is fully stitched all the way around the zipper, so there isn't a channel for cable ends to go into the inside pocket without unzipping the pocket. Lastly, I have a problem with the hand pockets I can't zip them up unless they are angled down from the opening, so everything I put into them falls right back out. Every time I go to put on a glove, I worry about losing it. 4. ***

3. Moonlight Insulated Ski Coat Jacket with Extended Plus Size, size 6X, Snow Country Outerwear
I expected this coat to be roomy in the bust/waist, but it was surprisingly large in the hip area as well. It was oddly enough that the sleeves were the perfect length as compared to the excessively long ones On the 5X jacket (#3), the sleeves extend to the elbows. There is also a small hood on this coat that is adjustable at the back to keep it from falling over your face. It is also smaller than the hood on the 5X jacket. As you can see, this jacket is warmer, and it has better pockets on the inside and outside Ninja cuffs, but that's on the up and up. This coat probably would have remained with me if I had selected the right size, based on the accurate size chart.
Since I was wearing an extra layer of clothing, I ordered 2 sizes larger than I normally wear. It was not necessary to wear an extra layer of clothing with these pants. What they are supposed to do, they If their hips were bigger, I think they would look much better.
These are great! Glad to find them! Snow clothes were about to become a thing of the past for me. This is a very comfortable and forgiving chair. As I sat down, I was worried I would rip the other brands. With these bibs, I will be able to wear thermals underneath. The bibs you make fit real people, so thank you very much! In the winter, I'll be able to maintain a relationship with this family.
The item was a perfect fit for me, and I really liked it. One complaint I have is that the pockets in both of them have wide open openings where they have not been stitched. It is not something that I would like to return, and I want to see it for myself.
The quality is excellent. Big and runs for a long time. There are approximately four inches less inches on the sizing chart than what product is actually. They look great and they keep you warm, so they are definitely worth the money.
In the store nearby, I tried on two sizes and found that the 2XL was too small, but the 4XL is way too big lol, but it works! As I have climbed mountains several times, I have experienced warmth and waterproofing with them.
It fits well and keeps me warm The ski slopes were dry. For the first time, I ordered a plus size ski suit that was made to fit bigger.
