This is one of those situations where you get what you pay for. The size chart is completely messed up. br>br> I'm not sure why Chinese manufacturers can't figure out how to convert sizes accurately. This isn't a difficult task. 5' 8" is my height. 170 This jacket is a tad too big for me. (See image. ) I like my clothes to be tight and slim-fitting. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel right. This jacket, on the other hand, lacks a drawstring at the waist. Because it's flimsy and the wind blows straight up, string it like this. I was freezing last night because it was 30 degrees Fahrenheit outside. I wore a tight goose-neck sweater as a layering piece. It was much better with the down puffer vest. br>br>The fabric is made of maga- cheap. It has a slick and gleaming finish to it. That isn't the water, is it? proofing. I have a 100% waterproof coat by Diesel ($520) in waxed cotton that feels like butter. You pay for what you get, once again. br>br>The hood is OUTRAGEOUSLY LARGE. It had enough room for six heads. It is completely ineffective.
This jacket was purchased in a size S for my 5'4"/110 pound son, and it fits perfectly. He wore it today in temperatures as low as 9 degrees Fahrenheit while playing in the snow for over an hour. He claimed that the jacket kept him warm the entire time and that it is water resistant. It has a camouflage look to it, which he enjoys. We also washed it, and the filling remained in its proper place. We are pleased with this jacket and would recommend it to others.
2/18/21 As soon as I started praising this coat, things started to go wrong. When the ZIPPER BROKE, I was outside filling stock water troughs in the low 20s with a significant wind chill. I'm so let down! A new one will be installed in about a week. BRRRRRRR! Original review: br>br> It arrived just in time for the first cold snap of the season. Due to the nylon lining, it is very easy to put on and take off, and it is also very warm and windproof. The hood and pockets are filled, making them extra warm, and the neck flap keeps the cold air away from your neck. The zipper is very easy to zip and unzip. There are so many pockets! Warm without being overbearing. So far, I'm really enjoying it! br>br>2/11/21 UPDATE: I'm even more in love with this coat! Today's temperature is 20 degrees Fahrenheit, with a wind chill of - The wind chill is 2 degrees. When it's this cold outside, I have to feed my horses three times a day. It's so much easier when you're wearing this amazing coat! Warmth, warmth, warmth, warmth, warmth, warmth, warmth, warmth, warmth, It's as if the hood is armor against the cold and wind when it's up and fastened. The fabric is extremely durable and attractive. I wish they had insulated pants to go with them!.
The product is well-made and true to size, as well as being extremely comfortable and having a stunningly awesome appearance. This is a jacket that I would highly recommend.
As a result, I exchanged it for a medium, which is perfect!.
On the first day of Alta Utah, I wore this coat. The coat is absolutely stunning. I'll most likely purchase a different color.
Very good.
This jacket is attractive in color and appearance, but it is as flimsy as a wet napkin in terms of durability. I've had it since the end of November 2020, and despite the fact that it's still quite warm, it's already falling apart; I noticed the white parts of the sleeves were becoming dirty, and I thought to myself, "no problem, I'll just wash it. " This thing was no cleaner after I washed and air dried it than it was before I washed it. The sleeves of my coat were fraying, so I leaned against one of the seats in my SUV, and the coat tore. I superglued the hole shut in the hopes of it lasting a few months longer. But it is unlikely. I should point out that I only wear it about three times a week, so it's falling apart. The pictures prove it. It is a waste of time. Thank you once more, China. I know I could sew the sleeves back together, but I don't think it's worth it. With the non-washable discoloration on the sleeves and the ease with which holes in the coat can be made. I'm sure you see where this is going.
