When I purchased it last year, I intended to give it to my daughter who was a beginner at the time. It has been a great experience You may want to check with the manufacturer to see what the maximum weight is since she cannot weigh more than 170 lbs. As far as I remember, it will be okay for someone who weighs 170 pounds There is no limit to how much weight one can lift.

The reason why I'm giving this board 5 stars is because it's a beginner board to intermediate board, which is a good combination. Earlier this year, I was a beginner with some experience when I bought my boat and this board, but by the end of the summer, I was riding this board for pretty much as long as I wanted without any rope. As well as getting up several new surfer's who had never surfed before, my efforts were successful. Despite being long and fast, the board is not for intermediate level riders, as the work to hold the board back is intense (without a rope). It is perfect for beginners who are trying to stay in the wake, but is difficult for riders who are moving into intermediate levels. My calves (or really, just my back calf) were tired and cramping by the end of the summer, so I cut my rides short. As for intermediate and advanced boards, we will be looking for one to add to the assortment this summer, but this CWB Ride will remain the mainstay of the boat for newly-arrived riders. As of May 2020, it is May. My hometown is Minnesota, so I was in that part of the country. A very good beginner board, but it does require regular refinishing as the foam soon begins to peel. Though the rope is not as shown in the pictures, it still remains a disappointment. While the handle looks decent, it is not braided or knotted as shown in the pictures, which is crucial when entering and retrieving your pockets.

The system worked great over the weekend when we were finally able to use it. It was very popular with my daughter. I got her up on it after the very first time, and she did it several times. The board is easy to ride for a brand new wakesurfer. He got up and rode after the first pull with the board. I did not get the rope I saw in the picture. My boat is 24 feet long, so it is a little too short it works fine, but it is a little short. I would think it would work perfectly for a boat that is 20 feet long. I would recommend this board to beginner and intermediate surfers alike!.
My son and I are beginning surfers and love the board. It is easy to maneuver and our friends who are intermediate and advanced surfers enjoy using it as well.
It is my second season, and I am enjoying it a lot. But the rubber is slipping off the top, so I couldn't give it 5 stars. No matter how it goes, it's a blast.
