Questions & Answers

Can these socks keep my feet protected from crocodile attacks? And when I go through a wood chipper head-on will they stay in place?

Are you hanging out with crocodiles for no apparent reason? I'm a GATOR. A party animal is one who goes out and has fun! Your feet will be protected, but they may suffer from indigestion as a result of these socks. Unlike wood chippers, party poopers do not give a damn.

Can you tell me what size of shoe is extra large or Is a 12 what I need?

It fits me fine, there is some room to stretch but not sure if it would stretch to a 12. I normally wear a 10 1/2 in a Nike shoe, and the large fits perfectly. This might be a little

HI, I am a US 11 men and am having trouble deciding whether the large or the X large would be right for me. That is a help please! ?

The X Large fits sizes 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15

It's very cute to wear these water fin socks! As a result of reading reviews of a number of water fin socks, I decided to purchase a pair of Seavengers for myself and a pair for my husband for the Galapagos and I'm very happy that I made the decision
5/5

When I packed them, I thought we'd use them when snorkeling, but they ended up being forgotten. The first water landing required us to have Keen shoes on, but then we had to march on the sandy shoreline - the sand got into the gaps in our shoes and started rubbing our feet raw - not to mention the blisters we developed on the fingertips. It's not a good idea. He mentioned to me that night that he remembered the water fin socks. We put socks on before putting on Keens the next time and we no longer had problems with sand or dirt scratching our feet. Though they are not waterproof, these little babies are thick enough to offer a bit of cushion and protection from sand and dirt. They also come up high enough on the heel to keep out sand and dirt, as well as prevent your shoes from rubbing those areas. We were asked what kind of socks we were wearing and where we got them by other people who were struggling with sand (or socks with a lower heel than ours). My first concern about the sizing was that it didn't seem to be fitting, but I decided to read what other reviewers had to say in addition to Seavenger's sizing guidelines. In my case, I ordered the small women's size. In reference to my usual size, I wear an I have a size 5 medium shoe. Because my feet are fairly slim and boney, the shoes just fit for length, but they are a little tight at the ankle. When you first put them on, they feel pretty snug, but after getting wet, they loosen a bit. The fins would have to be snug to stay in snorkeling fins if you were going to use them for that (I am not a snorkeler, so I can't speak to how that would have worked, since I hugged the shoreline during my Size medium is the water fin socks that my husband wears. Size 8 is usually the size he wears. There are no fat or thin spots on his feet, and he wears average width shoes. As for his socks, they fit like a glove with no extra space left over. Despite the fact that these socks dried quickly, these socks seemed pretty durable to me. They also rinsed out very easily. As we used them inside of trail type shoes such as Keens, they are not designed for walking on rocks or rough terrain, but with proper care they will last for years with snorkeling fins, walking short distances on a beach, or inside of trail type shoes.

Is intended to serve a purpose
5/5

As I can no longer walk well, I use swimming for leg exercise I am 71 years old. Additionally, I use fins for increased resistance when walking so that I am able to increase my leg and ankle muscle activity. Especially at my big toe, my feet are prone to rubbing spots caused by fins. The size of the fin that I need is also in the middle for me. To make room for the larger size fin, I use fin socks to take up the space instead of getting the smaller fin. The socks aren't just used for taking up space, but also to prevent soreness and rubbing. We need to protect our skin as we age because it is thinner. Having just used one of the Seavenger socks for the first time, I can say that I'm extremely In case you are wondering, I ordered the XL size because I wear size 11. For my purposes, it wouldn't need to be any tighter. put it on without needing to be a contortionist, it serves the purpose of occupying the space of the larger fin, it blocks the formation of sore spots, and it felt good, it never felt like it was I am satisfied with my purchase and would buy them again in the future. Neither I nor anyone else can say if any other option It doesn't matter to me what the results are.

Making the process of putting on or taking off fins easy for teenagers It prevents blisters from forming There were no cuts from walking over rocky terrain
5/5

They are the perfect snorkeling fins to have if you're a beginner. My son was going to a "Mariner Camp" on the east coast of Florida, so I ordered these for him. A week later he was in the water near six hours every day. I guess this was pretty typical for someone going snorkeling every day for a week. There was already a mask, snorkel, and fins with us, but the camp told us he would need "booties" to keep his feet from getting burned. The divers, instead, indicated that they needed dive booties to protect their feet against rocky areas as well as to help them swim It's his thirteenth birthday and he wears a size 7 - just like me. His shoe size is a 5 (fast approaching an 8), and he found that these fit him perfectly. They made it much easier to slide his fins on and off. The neoprene babies on his feet meant he did not have to wrestle to get the fins on Furthermore, they helped prevent those blisters that can happen when the fin strap rubs against the heel of his feet. In addition, he was in the water roughly six hours a day, and my son was very happy to learn that these would work. As well as walking over rocky areas in the water without his fins, he told me he could also walk on them over Neoprene booties did not get torn in any single way, the boots held onto the rocky areas (including jetties when they were not in the water) and the weight of the water did not slip into them and pull them into place. He said that the heat index was 105 degrees, and he saw people walking barefoot who were scorching their feet more than he was. As opposed to burning his feet, he was glad to have these. Further, he enjoyed the ability to get these in a red color while everyone else had black, because red is his favorite color.

The quality of the product was great
5/5

It was soft and fitted snugly (but not too tightly). Despite the nicely woven seams and excellent grippers, the bottom of the bag does not move at all on the These socks are great for barefoot beach walks and for playing in the ocean. I then wear my snorkel fins over top of them while in the water. Besides protecting me from hot sand and shells and any rocks or broken coral on my way into and out of the ocean, they also stop any blisters that my fins might cause after 6 days of wearing them The fact that they fit snuggly to the foot means that they don't add any additional weight, and my fins fit perfectly over top, Additionally, these oil-infused items grip wet surfaces around and in a swimming pool quite well.

A pretty good fit can be found in the clothing
4/5

In addition to my star rating, I have not used this product yet, so my rating is just based on fit and quality. They are a pretty good fit, not really tight, but snug enough to fill them with no issues of them slipping A size 6 in women's and a size 4 in youth fit me perfectly. I bought an XS. I will write a longer review after I have used the socks, as they appear to be made really well. When I used them at Havasu Falls where the water is around 70 degrees, the socks had the effect of keeping my feet from going numb, and I would recommend them to others.
