Does the sole of these shoes have a thick layer? This is what I am seeking. It's easy for me to get tired from creek fishing if I don't have comfortable aqua shoes. ?

While you are on rocks, this is probably not what you are looking for. The sole is designed for walking on sand, piers, and boat decks more than anything else.

This item fits women's sizes 7 and 8

At first, I thought I would be able to fit into a men's size 5. It is 5 feet tall. The shoes arrived in a men's size 5 that looked like it was a child's size. I then got a men's 7 that fit It is not clear to me why the manufacturer's label said "men's" when it can fit a true size 7 women's shoe. The purchase is in general a good one. During a diving trip to Isla Guadalupe last week, I tested it out with great whites and it appears to work just as well as it should. Stayed in place although the zip didn't open and close when necessary.

Women's size 8 is my usual size, and I ordered the men's size 6 to match. I'm satisfied with the fit. It looks strong. I really like how comfortable it feels. At the bottom, you get lots of traction. There should have been a bit more Velcro on the straps. However, I am satisfied with this pair of booties besides that!.
