It took me a while to return these due to the inaccurate size description (size info at the end), but I have been wearing these Akona zipper boots for about five years now and love them. Keeping my feet warm while walking in cold rivers is a breeze. They've protected my feet really well when walking on ocean jetties too. It is all I've ever worn, and I've never been even a little bit cut by barnacles. If you want them to stay in good shape, you should rinse them after swimming with fresh water. Additionally, you should rinse the zipper thoroughly and allow it to dry before using it Pull it up and down a few times to make sure there is no sand, dirt, or debris stuck in it, otherwise the zipper will get stuck. The condition of my boots is still excellent. My daughter received these as a gift. As for the size, Amazon (or the seller) lists it as a Men's 5/ Women's 6 on its website.
