Questions & Answers
There are men's versions of these.
As well as my Keenes, I tried them on. A minimal amount of wiggling is required for them to fit in. There is a little bit of thickness in it, which is why I say it must be wiggled. It didn't feel like my keenes were too tight, but they are definitely more snug after putting on the booties.
On the bottoms of these socks are no traction areas. It is very comfortable to wear inside fins since the seams are smooth. This type of shoe is not designed to be worn on water Although they are not slippery, they are not soft.
The size runs true to size. I like my clothes to be a little loose or snug, as you would like. *br>. Normally wear a size 12, ordered a size 12 and it fits well

The fabric used in her 1mm spring suit is also about this thick (and my caliper does she measures 1mm when she measures They're just what I needed because my 3mm booties were causing a lot of cramping in my freediving fins. As a result, these fins slip off my feet virtually every time, which results in an absolute lack of I'd guess they'd work fine for water shoes in general.
They are well made, warm, and work well with my training fins. The pictures are so beautiful! I love them! Wearing swim fins for 4 swim laps at a lap pool is a training routine for me I swim five days a week for more than an hour each time, so I needed something to protect my feet from blisters and rubbing. It's a great solution, and I'm able to keep my feet warm in these Akona socks! I love how well made they are, how easy it is to put them on while I'm swimming, and how well they fit. It is normal for me to wear a women's 9 or 10 My ideal shoe would be a size 5, but I bought the Akona socks in nine and ten sizes since some reviewers indicated the socks ran No, I do not wash or dry them in a machine. The first phase of the project has gone well I'm amazed at how well they stay in place and haven't stretched As someone with tender feet that is easily bothered by rough seams in socks, I was surprised by how well placed the seams on these socks are, and how smooth they are that I don't even feel them while wearing them. My swim fins fit better and are lighter than I expected with these 2mm weights. The foam padding adds just the right amount of protection. As an added benefit, I believe they will also provide good insulation for diving or swimming in cold weather. This review is in no way influenced by any discounts or compensation I might receive. I purchased these at full price. Whenever I make purchases, I find reviews written by other consumers to be extremely helpful, so I hope my thoughts have been helpful to you.
This pair of socks were truly amazing, because we hiked in waist-deep water nearly all day. Not only did they keep our feet free from rocks and sand, but they also prevented blisters! Thank you, Lord! These are some of the best I've ever tried!.
It did not solve the problem, neither were they built to last. A few of uses and they were falling apart, opening in the seams. I tried another pair made from a much thinner material, but they did not address the problem, nor were they made to last. Not to mention they were expensive. This was the first pair of socks I ever bought after I received a recommendation from a scuba buddy. They were worn while he was on vacation scuba diving. The goods arrived soon after we returned home and I am pleased to have ordered them. This pair of socks has been worn dozens of times already. are they well made (I have worn them stepping over sharp rocks and rocky and sandy beaches for shore diving or snorkeling and they held up well) but they have also solved my issue of the fins hurting and cutting into my feet after wearing them with bare feet for awhile. Choosing the thinner ones will allow you to slip your feet into the fins like a glove, and may soon make you forget you are wearing It cannot be emphasized enough how highly I recommend them!.
The reason I bought these was a recommendation I came across in a review of a different product, which is really unrelated to their intended purpose (snorkeling, etc. ). The other reviewer of the product and I both have Raynaud's Syndrome. The reviewer of the other product recommended this exact product as serving a totally different purpose, to address her Raynaud's and lack of circulation in her feet (resulting in painfully cold feet). It's a problem I've got and these are my symptoms. Sadly, I wasn't able to experience the same thing. I am satisfied with the seller's performance and the arrival of the item in good condition. It is not advised to use these for keeping feet warm in outdoor winter conditions when not in direct contact with water. But snorkeling would be a lot more fun.
After I purchased neoprene toe covers that are meant to keep your feet warm, I became aware of this product. am bothered by 1) The one-of-a-kind A one-size-fits-all solution It was much too tight on all products. Among the reviews of that product, a user mentioned having found these Akona Low Cut Socks, and said that they helped him keep his feet warm. The idea of warmer feet during the winter appealed to me, even though I don't dive. Originally I had ordered a size 11, the size of my foot, but the Akona Socks were a bit too narrow to be comfortable. Although I do have fairly wide feet, they are not too big. As insulation, I intend to wear them in conjunction with regular socks for comfort. I returned that pair (paying for shipping) and ordered the size 13 pair to replace them. Size 13 fits me much better for the purposes I have in mind. As for the width, I find it to be more comfortable, especially when wearing them over thick socks. The slight amount of extra room in the toe area does not seem to be an issue for me. Slippers or moccasins are fine for around the house, and the added bulk is not an issue for me. I wear my insulated winter boots when I'm outdoors, however, the bulk makes for a slightly tight fit, so I prefer a slightly looser fit. This is an uncomfortable I probably would choose a size larger than my foot if I were to use them with swim fins, but I have wide feet, so maybe I should have gone for a slightly larger size. As a regular skimmer, I am aware of the huge benefits of wearing the Akona Socks with water shoes or when walking on sand. (The cheap pair of water shoes that I own will very quickly rub against and cause blisters on my feet. My only complaint is that they aren't very warm. I've only had these a few days, but I would definitely purchase them again just for their insulation value.
