The lock on the handle is unreliable

Except for the fact that the handle does not lock in place, I liked this product as a replacement for the paddle I lost! I'm not particularly strong, but I can easily move the handle up and down, and it occasionally slips as I paddle. There is a small piece to tighten it down, but it loosens over time; otherwise, this is an excellent product!.

The paddles are absolutely gorgeous! We're looking forward to putting them to the test. However, a small metal piece is missing from one of them, as shown in the photo. (The piece is on the bottom paddle; the piece is not on the top paddle. ) I'm hoping to contact the seller and see if it's possible to have it shipped to me!.
