Once assembled, the paddle has a lot of play and movement

I was hoping that an inexpensive paddle could also be a good paddle when I ordered it, but there is a lot of movement between the handle segment (top third) of the paddle and the height adjustment clamp. After putting it together, I knew I wouldn't want to spend the entire day on the water with it, especially with any kind of strenuous SUP padding. Also, and this is a minor point, but it may be significant to you, the glue job where the T handle meets the top shaft is a little sloppy, with overflow. I believe that higher-end paddles would cover this interface with tape or shrink wrap, or simply do a better job of gluing. I started the return process for the item, but due to the cost of returning and shipping the package from the east coast to Amazon's designated return center in California, I will most likely not return it. The cost of returning it is about $18, which is more than half the price of the paddle, so I'll keep it as a backup to give out if anyone needs a paddle at the last minute. It received two out of five stars from me. One star for the low price, but only one additional star for the poor paddle assembly quality.

The delivery was on time. The paddle that came with my SUP wasn't very good, so I ordered this one. It had a slide lock, but it wasn't tight enough to keep the handle from slipping. This paddle is great because it has a locking slide. It's done a good job of replacing my old paddle.

After ten minutes of use, the paddle bent and broke. This paddle is designed to be used on an inflatable raft rather than a stand-up paddleboard. I have to get rid of it.
