The matte black finish is a nice touch, and the quality for the price is excellent. I was surprised by the size of the paddle. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: The paddle was described as loose in some reviews. Now that I've used it a few times, I'd like to add something to it. It's definitely not the same locking mechanism I've used in the past. Other paddles I've used have holes drilled into one piece and two metal rods that lock into place on the other. This paddle is completely devoid of holes. It's held in place by a fairly sturdy clamp. The obvious disadvantage of this mechanism is that it moves. It's a matter of centimeters. While using, I've grown accustomed to it and have come to appreciate it to some extent. Other paddles have a fixed top handle that cannot be adjusted or swiveled to a different angle. I like having that flexibility because my hands get worn in certain places from time to time. Adjusting and swiveling it for a different hand grip is convenient. There is only one grip option with paddles that lock in place. While I don't mind this feature, it isn't for everyone. If you want something that stays locked in place 100% I suggest you find another paddle. Overall, this paddle is a great value for the money.

The paddle is functional, but the shaft clamp is insufficiently secure, causing the handle to twist. When trying to paddle, this is extremely inconvenient, especially since the ad claims that the clamp is anti-twist.

There are 15 seconds remaining. This paddle was purchased to replace one that had sunk in our harbor. It's made up of three parts, which could explain why it can't hold enough air to float. We have a two-piece paddle that is slightly more solid and floats well; the adjustment mechanism is excellent, and the price is reasonable for a children's paddle. The paddle is still a little big for a 48" kid, but that's fine because they're still growing. After we finished paddling and the paddle was left on the water for 10 seconds, I noticed it sank. I tried it again and discovered that the tube lacks enough air to keep it buoyant at the shorter length. Kids should be given a paddle leash.

There was no handle when it arrived. I didn't open the box right away because it was for a spare paddle board that I use for family and friends. It never occurred to me that only a portion of a paddle would be sent. It is not possible to return it. When you receive your package, open it and inspect the contents.

I was irritated, to be sure. br>br>I stared at this one for a while until the weather improved and going to the lake became a viable option once more. We purchased it and were very pleased with the results. Yes, my nieces used my SUP board once more, but I reminded them of what happened last summer and that if it happened again, I would NOT be the one to foot the bill! My only wish is that it came with a second paddle that could be attached to the handle end and used in a kayak or canoe. Because I'm a little too big for our SUP, I usually sit on it.

To use with my Solo Skiff, I needed a reasonably priced, high-quality stand-up paddle board paddle. This paddle appealed to me because it appeared to be a good match for my requirements. The first time I used it in my skiff, I was leaving the boat ramp into a strong outgoing tide when the motor propeller collided with the end of the ramp, breaking the shear pin and leaving me powerless in the strong current. It's time to call in the stand-up paddle. My Abahub adjustable paddle did a fantastic job. I was able to make length adjustments without losing ground to the outgoing tide because it was light weight, strong, and felt good in my hand. My Abahub 3 piece adjustable paddle is a valuable part of my equipment and it works great.

It was deceiving to look at the product's reviews. Either the product has been updated to address issues, or knockoffs have appeared. The item I received was of good quality and performs admirably. I paddle a fishing kayak and stand and paddle a lot of the time. That's why I bought this paddle in the first place. The blade does not move in the manner described in the previous posts. In fact, it is held in place by a channel. It's a little heavier than I'd like, but carbon fiber is hard to come by for under $30. I like the three-piece design, and I like that when you leave it assembled and condense the handle, it measures about 54 inches long. If you prefer to sit rather than stand, this is ideal. I have about 30-minutes to spare. This paddling trip took me 50 miles through Missouri, hitting rocks and navigating local streams. This is an excellent product.
