In their regular sizes, I purchased one for each of my daughters. They're comfortable to wear, but they're a little longer in the torso and arms than other swimshirts we've bought. It doesn't bother them in the least.
It's not bad at all.
No, hand-wash or machine-wash in cold water and hang to dry. The suit will be more comfortable and last a lot longer! (hot water or a dryer stretches them out and breaks down the elastic in the material in an unattractive way)
I'd say it's reasonably close. My 11-year-old is frail and tall. Because it is long, it was a good fit for her. The chest/waist area isn't very wide and is meant to be worn close to the body.

For my 11-year-old, I purchased the turquoise blue 14L. She is dressed in a size 10 child shirt and size 8 shorts. She is tall (73 pounds) and extremely thin. This shirt is a perfect fit for her, with plenty of room for growth. She folds up her sleeves because they are too long for her. Because she has a long torso, the length is excellent, and I went up a size. This tee isn't even close to being wide. She puts it on over her bathing suit at the beach and on the lake to protect herself from the sun. She's also wearing a lot of sunscreen. She adored the fit, as well as the fact that she could stuff shark teeth into the pocket. Because this shirt is narrow and long rather than wide and long, I don't believe the size 14L corresponds to a size 14 girls tshirt.
For our recent trip to Myrtle Beach, I bought this for my 7-year-old daughter. She liked how comfortable this top was and how I didn't have to slather her top in sunscreen all the time. It is machine washable; however, line drying is recommended. The shirt's zippered pocket is her favorite feature. She stuffed it with beach finds like seashells. This is an excellent purchase. It is a big hit with my daughter. The fitting is nice, but it runs a little small, as many people have mentioned in reviews. I'm glad I got a larger size. br>br>My only gripe is with the prints. I left it outside on a clothes rack in the backyard, where it began to melt and become entangled. With or without, it makes no difference to me. When it starts to fall off, it's just a mess.
She desired one with a low-profile collar because she had previously owned rash guards that were too high and uncomfortable. This is a favorite of hers. The addition of a pocket is a nice touch. It's a lovely light blue color.
Fits my 9-year-old niece perfectly and keeps her from getting sunburned at the beach.
The color is a perfect match for the bathing suit, and the pockets and quality are excellent.
The description says it's a bathrobe for girls, and the image shows it. But it was only the camiset that arrived for me.
Although the quality is excellent, this does not appear to be a standard size 4 and fits snugly. My daughter enjoyed it, so I was disappointed.
