Yes, it will take a long time. People with 6' and 6'3" and over should be able to reach it. About 8 inches wide, it is one of the best paddles for its price. This is a well-constructed piece.
As far as the blade set at an angle is concerned, yes. Obviously I can't tell you the exact number, but it's probably between 10 and 11. Because of the concave shape, it is hard to tell what is inside.
It has to be the last notch all the way out for it to be perfect for me since I'm 5'11". The paddle is 5'11" long from tip to top of handle when at its shortest and 7'2" in length when fully extended. So a person 5'1" tall could use it at its shortest and be fine. As you get into the water, you should have some of that in the water and also have the ability to hold the paddle in your hand. You can use a long pole or stick to mark where on your hand you are most comfortable placing it on the pole. Stand on a chair and put your hand about one-foot below the top of the chair. If you follow that advice, you can get a pretty good idea of what length paddle you need.

On its inaugural run, I did a score of The Potomac River on a windy day proved to be a perfect paddle for a 3 miler. I found it to be effective This purchase has been a great experience for me. Having a carrying case is a good idea This is a simple and functional design My decision regarding whether to use the case frequently is still up in the air. There is a lot of stiffness in the paddle It replaces a paddle that you no longer use, which is a nice change. It is probably just my habit, but the only small thing I must mention is Two piece StarBoard) have Featuring a clip, this paddle can be clipped to a bag. Each clip has a discrete location to clip into to adjust the size Unlike friction clamps, continuous clamps can be used to zero into a perfect paddle length. With continuous clamps, a perfect paddle length will be more difficult to achieve. Just an FYI, I think this is very minor, and it doesn't matter to me. It is important to keep in mind the following when it comes to clip versus clamp There is some twist or play in the handle after the paddle is clipped in (after the clip is connected). This issue does not exist with the clamps A subtle pause in the video play makes a big difference In retrospect, it may just have been me since I almost always used a clamp-type.
A carbon fiber version of mine is in my possession. Paddles are a very good option if you want to play any sport It's great for all-around use at an affordable price. I have two of them, although I have observed that the price has gone up a bit (from 99 to 129). For an adult of average height, this will be a good option. pounds), has a paddle tilt that is acceptable for most usage patterns, a fairly standard blade shape, and it can be adjusted fairly easily. The height of this paddle adjusts from 70" to 85", so I would say that most people of average height would be able to use it. Prior to buying this, figure out your desired paddle length (which can be a bit subjective) if you are particularly tall or short. You should be aware that the locking mechanism functions primarily as a clamp and pin, so the handle has a bit of play. There's just something to be said about most two piece paddles, especially with this lock type. The design allows you to adjust the length very quickly, which is a plus. I have not found the amount of play to bother me and have used them on trips lasting several hours without a problem. So far the paddles have held up, although I'm not surfing or roughing them up. Finally, here is the bottom line The carbon fiber paddle you need doesn't have to break the bank to be versatile.
Because of its fiberglass construction, the piece is light and strong. My favorite feature of this blade is its size It should be just the right size - not too large, not too small Boards are designed to be moved through water however, they do not have wheels. (I've used it for two long SUP sessions and haven't had any problems with it so far). Having a comfortable grip and an adjustable shaft length makes it a good choice for the whole family. People call them a "2" As the top part of the shaft comes out of the bottom part, it is technically two pieces, but the bottom part remains quite long. Nevertheless, I do not mind having to store my board with it, since it's also long. you're looking for a paddle to travel with, I recommend the 3-inch paddle The paddle is made up of two pieces. Two out of three is okay for me A wooden paddle would be a nice upgrade to the heavy plastic paddle our boards came with. I am thinking of buying another for my husband.
Earlier this year (7 months ago), I bought this paddle. Earlier yesterday, the neck of the blade broke off from the stem while surfing. A friend of mine recently had the same thing happen to her. * ** I am not the first to have this happen. Until the paddle broke, the paddle was a good force multiplier and If used for surfing, it has one fatal drawback a short lifespan. The following are the latest updates I have since received a generous refund from the company since writing my review. I was impressed by their quality customer service and I am equally convinced that the product is backed by quality. I will continue to use their products in the future.
I actually loved this paddle until the piece that holds the locking mechanism cracked after a couple months of light use. This makes it nearly impossible to use. I have tried to contact the seller, but I have not received any contact information! Although it works fine, there is no way to adjust the length. The end slides up and down when I In keeping with their lifetime guarantee, I would appreciate it if the company would make this right! Paddles cost more than $80, and I am expecting more with a paddle like this! My first review of ANYTHING and I have purchased tons of items over the years, but I am desperate for a response to this problem.
I consider this to be one of my better purchases Thanks for the good sale price and prompt delivery! I purchased this paddle to supplement my full carbon fiber paddle should the latter break or otherwise be in need of replacement. As I knew I couldn't paddle without a paddle, I hoped that I would find one on the shore. The literal sense. The last time I went out for a spin I noticed a slight increase in weight compared to the first time In terms of performance, there is a problem. I will use this paddle when I expect a few more rocks along the shoreline where I won't have to worry about damaging the carbon fiber blade on my performance paddle. The T grip handle is a bit more robust than most I have seen at REI and was more ergonomic. This product includes a blade cover as an extra benefit. When the package was delivered, it was packaged well. Keeping in touch with vendors I feel as though SUP was very personable and made me feel as if I had a true partner on this journey. There was no difference between the product and its advertisement, and the holiday price was excellent. When I drag my wife out on an SUP next summer, it will be my training paddle.
The paddle looks great, however, when I tried to use it, the locking screws did not tighten enough one would not tighten at all, so the handle would spin. Also when it arrived, it only came with a paddle cover, not the complete bag that covers the whole shaft and paddle.
