It's a little stiff, but not to the point of immobility. It's only because of the water that it's so heavy.
The material is stretchy, so if your son is slim, go for the Large. If you don't want to go with XL, you can. Thank you
My daughter is four years old, stands 38 inches tall, and weighs 37 pounds. S was the order I placed. 37- 42" . We absolutely adore it. It's also suitable for indoor swimming in the winter. This is the last time we'll see each other.
I purchased the XL size for my 10-year-old son, and it fits him perfectly. This is an excellent item.

My 42" four-year-old son was measured using the chart. A small is worn by old. My 5-year-old daughter, who is 46 inches tall, is wearing a medium. My 7-year-old, who stands at 50 inches tall, wears a size large. These suits are quite warm, and I'll report back on how well they performed in the water.
My husband and I both enjoy scuba diving and find a tight wetsuit to be very helpful in keeping us warm. In the first hour of our last visit to Great Wolf Lodge, both boys had purple lips and were shivering between areas. We spent 3 hours playing and running around after "suiting them up," and there were no complaints about being cold. To keep warm, both my husband and I wore wetsuits. My 22-month-old son is 36 inches tall and weighs 29 pounds. XS is the size. My 3. 5 yr. old is 43 inches tall and weighs 41 pounds. S is the size of the garment.
However, the size I ordered for my daughter's height is far too large to use in a pool! I'm looking forward to the "new size medium. " "I like that there is a truly unisex color option, as we now have a son who will be wearing this suit in the future. br>br>We have O'Neill size 1 and 2 in our closet for our average-sized, skinny friends. Girls of average height. The O'Neill size 1 was a good fit for a child between the ages of two and four. At the age of four and five, we had to purchase a size two. For our 5, we now require a size 3. We ordered this suit because O'Neills are so expensive these days and are rumored to have stink issues. This Natfly suit is a huge step up from the O'Neill size 2 and is available in sizes "New size L 42" to 47. " The torso length appears to be the next size up, but the arms and legs, as well as the torso width, appear to be two sizes up.
They're of excellent quality, and my children absolutely adore them! They're extremely well-made and I expect them to last a long time; the material is thick and keeps the kids toasty warm.
When the season begins, our community pool is quite cold. When I put these on my kids, they stayed in for hours while the other kids turned blue and had to be let out after a few minutes. They were also used in a water park. Other parents praised it as a brilliant idea for sun protection as well as warmth. The quality was excellent, and the fit was perfect. I had a minor problem with one of them and was blown away by the seller's outstanding customer service. I would recommend it to any parent with a young child. Would be fantastic in the sea or even a small pool.
It took them a few days to figure it out. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. It took a few days for them to air out after they were first opened, but I believe this is normal for neoprene. My kids, who are all average-sized, slender 7-year-olds, found it easy after that. They are to be put on by 9-year-olds on their own. However, there isn't any room for expansion. I ordered a large, and it appears that this will be the only season in which we can wear them, as the length of the arms and legs barely fit. They kept them warm in the pool for an hour until my youngest complained about being cold. That's fantastic because I purchased them for their 45-minute swim lessons. I can't complain for the price, but I'll definitely get a head start on ordering 3mm suits for next season, which is what I wanted in the first place but couldn't find in other brands in time for all of my kids, so I got these. It's a good start for the money.
This was purchased for my nearly 5-year-old son, who is extremely thin. I ordered a Medium instead of a Small based on the size chart. The length was perfect, but she was too big for it. She wore it in December in Hawaii, where the water temperature remained constant at 72 degrees, and it kept her warm enough, despite the loose fit. The wet suit, I believe, is designed to keep the body temperature warm. Overall, I like it, and for the price, it accomplished what it set out to do. Even after multiple washings with detergent or soap, it still has a strong rubbery smell.
She adores it, and it has allowed her to swim in our Washington lakes in June, even though the water is still quite cold. Even when it's 85 degrees outside and the water is at a comfortable temperature, she wears it, indicating that it's not too hot. br>She likes the way it feels, and it's simple to put on and take off. It's been great for both her and us. It comes highly recommended. When this one wears out, we'll get a new one. br>It has only been washed once in the machine. We've rinsed everything and let it air dry. Between uses, the towel is dried. br>I really like it.
