Questions & Answers
Due to the fact that the pants are ordered as-is, there may be extra material depending on your leg length. It's possible that the order will be a little longer, but I don't mind if it's a little longer in the back of the knee. Note: It's best to order a size larger than you normally would because they run smaller than expected. I hope this has been of assistance.
No, for petite women, size 4 is a girl's size.
What size would be appropriate for a 6'1" 227 pound man?
My sizing is accurate.

True to size, reasonable price, but a little noisy and odorous. The items smelled a little, but that's to be expected with neoprene. I'm 5'9" tall and weigh 130 pounds. I'm 5 feet tall, 165 pounds, and I bought a medium. They're a little tight when you first put them on, but according to what I've read, they loosen up in the water. They are extremely relaxing. I'll try to remember to post back once I've used them because it's such a good deal. They'll be used for sit-on-top kayaking, snorkeling, and swimming in Baja this winter. There's one more thing I'd like to point out. When they walk, they make an odd noise, but this isn't a major issue. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> After a few minutes of wearing them around the house and discovering that I am now 170 pounds; ) and, because I intend to use them mostly for kayaking, I went with the Large to see which one feels better. Large is definitely more comfortable, and I can pull in for a custom fit thanks to the cinch waist. I hope this information is useful. br>br>5'10" (170 lbs), 35" waist, 42" hips.
We liked the materials and the added panel in the back waist line, but we couldn't get these wetsuits to fit my wife or daughter for kayaking because they exposed too much of their backside. These wetsuits don't appear to be gender specific, but they do have a purple panel on the leg that designates them as women's. The distance between the crotch and the waistline was simply too short to cover most women's hips, leaving the back exposed when they sat. These might work for women who want to dive and swim in them, but I'd go with something else for paddle pants. However, as a man, I believe these pants are a viable option.
When ordering, their sizing chart suggests going up a size, but this is not the case. The size of this item was excessive. I ordered a size down and will update my review once I receive the new version. I'm 5'2'', so it'll be very long, regardless of size, and I wish they made this product for petite women. Aside from the sizing issue, it's a nice product, and I'm hoping that the new one I ordered will be even better. br>br>***UPDATE**
After returning my original product because it was too big, I ordered two sizes smaller and it fits perfectly. When I was wearing it, it kept me warm and protected me from everything, including sand fleas, on a scuba trip to Belize. My advice is to ignore the "order a size larger" advice because I did and ended up with a huge mess; instead, order your true size because they fit like pants. Even after resizing, they were still a little long for me, but I was able to roll them up like regular pants and they stayed that way in the water.
Whatever you want to say about 'cheap' wet suits, the fact remains that they exist. The fit? Sizing was for a large (6'2" 198), which is the same as my full suit from the same company. Anyone who believes they can simply "slide into" a good wetsuit is in for a rude awakening. It's for a reason that they're so close together. If they aren't, you won't be protected from the water's temperature. br>When I got home, I took advantage of the first opportunity to try them on. It's a good fit and it's a little tight. I took a cold shower and soaked them completely. The water was shockingly cold at first, but the suit took care of that and I didn't notice. These, along with my drytop, will be my kayaking outfit for the fall and early spring.
This pair of pants is ideal for water skiing and jet skiing. skiing. Skiing and jet skiing in the early mornings and late evenings were purchased for the cold mornings and late evenings. From Buffalo, New York, you can go skiing on Lake Erie. I'm 5' 10" and in decent physical shape, with a waist circumference of 35". I went with the XL and am glad I did because they are extremely comfortable and fit snugly. With these on, I can easily bend and do all of the activities I need to do while on the lake. The only thing that bothers me about these pants is how quickly they dry. I first put them on last night and expected them to be dry the next morning, but they weren't. Actually, the ankle/calf area was still dripping wet. I may need to research how to dry these pants or devise a method for drying them on days when I ski multiple times. Maybe they're supposed to be applied wet? Not sure. If that's the case, I'd take a point off. The drawstring is also nice for a nice snug fit around the waist; I'm thinking about getting another pair, but in a different thickness, for the really cold days. ) I hope this information is helpful, and I would highly recommend these pants. After doing some research on drying, I'm going to try hanging them inside out to see if it works better. In general. Thumbs up.
Sizing is all wrong for me! I'm so disappointed because I ordered a 3XL and they barely fit over my buttocks. I can't believe how small they are. I'm 220 pounds, so you'd think a 3XL would be plenty big enough. The material appears to be fantastic, and I am very pleased with it. They aren't very stretchy, so it's a good thing I'm not too tall. I don't want to send them back because I think they're very nice, but they're too small for me. So, if you're over 200 pounds, these might not fit and you'll have to send them back. To make them fit my body, I'm going to cut into the waist and add some stretchy material. If you're a normal size, they'll probably fit perfectly, but if you're anything else, they'll almost certainly be too small.
These just arrived and they look great, but because I couldn't try them on, I figured I'd get the next largest size because they appear to run small. From what I've seen, you need to be on the thinner side, which I'm not. They were just above my knee when I finished them. No, these are going back, he said: (I'm a big girl who wears size 2x pull-on pants with spandex, so I figured 3x would be appropriate. ) So, if you're a 2x or larger lady, please proceed. If you're a size 1x, I'd recommend trying a size 3x in the wet suit, which is what I'm hoping to do after I go down a size and try this wet suit again because it's great quality. Furthermore, the cost is excellent. I had high hopes for the price, and when I opened the box, I was impressed by how sturdy and well-made it was. But no, I'm not going to try them again until I lose 30 pounds. So those were 2x or larger, and now it's time to move on. Return if you lose a few pounds; if you lose a few pounds, I'll have to heehee.
