We ordered both an XL and an L and both fit the individuals as anticipated. Yesterday, we tested them out as an outer layer in 50 degrees F, and they performed If it had something such as Velcro to hold it more snug it may be 5 stars, but it may only be 4 stars now if it had purely a pull string bottom. Though I'd like more pockets, I knew what I was going to get when I ordered these, and I'm sure we will enjoy them now and in the future.

I updated the posts over on 6/6/2017. There is a breakage on my waistline drawstring after about 5 or 6 uses. Disappointed with this, as the rest of it holds up. In the 1950s and 1960s, my wife and I used them a lot when we were sailing in colder temperatures. The week on the boat would have been miserable without these, and I agree with her. It just would have been better if mine had lasted longer. While I was using two hands to pull the string, it was plastic and didn't appear to be able to handle the pressure of being Consequently, she hasn't experienced this issue with hers because she has never tightened it snugly.

When the weather is cooler, this water proof jacket is perfect for paddling my kayak. My measurements are 5' 11'' tall, 190 pounds, 42' chest, long arms and fall between a large and extra large size on the chart. Because I plan to wear warm clothing under the jacket, I selected the extra large size and it fits well. If you selected the large size, you would probably have been disappointed. I like the fact that it is well designed, well made, and waterproof, however, it is also very tightly sealed and restricts airflow. 57 degrees Fahrenheit and I took it for a test paddle yesterday. It's warm and sunny today. As a result of wearing a T shirt and sweatshirt under it, it was a little warm inside. If it had been overcast or a few degrees colder, it would probably have I still could have used a fleece jacket instead of my sweat shirt during colder temps because the jacket is still large enough. In addition to keeping me dry and warm, the jacket made paddling an enjoyable experience and does everything I asked it to.

While I worked for a rubber clothing company for many years, I was involved in rubber clothing. Several layers of rubber are applied to the inside of the jacket. The fabric doesn't breathe well and all you feel like is that you're in a sweat box and you might as well just have gotten wet then without the cover. It is lightweight and can function as a windbreaker to an extent.

This product was very good. (You can also wear a fleece underneath if your body isn't fully submerged so as to stay dry while kayaking or sailing. gloves, and rain pants for a very cozy outfit to wear on a kayaking trip on cold, rainy days in Washington. There is no doubt in my mind that you should try this!.

The price point is good and the quality is good. It's been so long since anything XXL sized had 16 that I don't understand it. Can I wear a 5 inch neckline? You can find that in a tee-shirt as a medium or large sized neck hole I do not feel angry at all. This is a common problem with a couple of paddle tops that I have tried, so I am not too bothered. It was returned to this company, and I was credited immediately, a great service. Thus, if you have a 17 inch neck, it might be worth your while to give it a try. As I said, construction seems to be of high quality, especially for this price.

Paddling jacket that works just like it says on the box. There are two robust closures at the neck and wrists of the jacket velcro and latex. The jacket comes in medium weight material. In spite of the fact that it's completely waterproof, this jacket has no breathable features. The quarter-zip allows this jacket to breathe well enough so that I do not wind up sweating inside. This jacket is not going to be a jacket you would care to put in a dry bag, as it is rather Before purchasing this jacket, I was using an NRS endurance jacket. I found the waterproofing to be disappointing. However, I use the Windrider more often than it was as a backup in the dry bag Cold weather jackets are ideal for cold weather. Does the job without a lot of frills and for not much money.

Since this was returned, I do not know how it really performs. My son quit the sailing team, so he never used it, but I am certain it would have performed well if he had. The material is very thick and waterproof fit is good, closures at neck and wrists are secure, and cords cinch the waist.

The jacket I wore today is my first time wearing it. This was just the thing I was looking for. Mostly I'm paddling flat water these days because I'm getting older and I no longer enjoy whitewater kayaking much. As the weather gets cool, I need something that keeps the wind off of me and does not protect me from water. It was great to have the jacket. Well suited to the item. This mode of transport is easy to use. Doesn't constrict the body and fits well. As soon as I tightened up the cuffs, there was a minor leak however, I'm not planning on rolling up the sleeves. That's a nice, bright color, I like it. My only problem is that I broke the clasp on the shock cord at the waist when I tightened it up the second time. Part 4 is a fairly important part. It is still functioning, but won't be I would give this jacket five stars if it weren't for this.
