It was ripping on the South Shore of Long Island as we spent the morning casting for striped bass. Moderate winds, but the surf was tearing. A moisture wicking tee and a NRS farmer John wetsuit were layered underneath this top. Despite being water-resistant, the fabric is breathable. I appreciate that the cuffs are Velcro, that the pockets are big enough to hold my phone, that the hood is comfortable on sensitive ears, that the front has a 1/4 zipper and that the coat is lightweight. This color is similar to Fjord blue. In spite of being drenched from the surf, this top kept me comfortable even when I got blown around by the I wore the outfit for a 20 minute ride home on a boat traveling at 30 mph and was fine. * Ordered the XL size. As the temperatures decline, I will add another layer as the fit is loose for additional layering.
Excellent.
It's hard to find a better rain jacket than this one from NRS! The product is not cheap, but it is not cheaply made either. Spending $50 here was the last thing I wanted to do. $75 to $100 There is a $100 charge. My sense of being always wearing a sweat jacket like the ones fighters/boxers wear to lose a few pounds before weigh in was always an unpleasant feeling, I thought. I mean it. What is the purpose of wearing rain gear if you sweat so much while wearing it that it is almost as good as not wearing The work I do outside is outside. The majority of the time is Now that it's Summer in Galveston, TX, I'm in the midst of summer vacations. The temperature increases when the heat is present Despite the humidity, there is no relief in sight. Occasionally, we get a pop-up There are up to 40 mph thunderstorms that produce downpours and we occasionally get Tropical Systems The idea of rain gear that is actually breathable used to seem like a myth to me. In addition to Grundens, Columbia, and Frogg Toggs, I have also used other brands. This jacket can't be compared to anything else in terms of its quality and comfort. You must have read this far to reach this point. You won't be disappointed if you add it to your cart! NRS, thank you very much!.
I found this to be very waterproof, and I didn't sweat inside. It fits well. My only wish would be for a chest or waist pocket, as well as sleeve pockets, but I realize these would likely be under a life jacket if it were used for its.
I think this will be a great jacket to wear when kayaking season rolls around. A few months ago (I bought it). As of now, I have not used it, so I can't give this a full five-star rating. My favorite color is green and I also purchased a rain hat that matches so that I am dry while paddling or camping in wet weather. would have liked to have these last summer when I purchased my seasonal camping site up north and it rained more than usual.
The only thing I wish was not a pullover.
I was very impressed with the speed of the vendor's shipment and the way in which it was packaged. I found the fit of the product to be perfect and comfortable, with plenty of room to paddle without feeling restricted. It was very comfortable to wear layers underneath the jacket even though the temperature was A cupped sleeve did not allow water to penetrate. Thank you for your purchase. I'm very satisfied with my.
It was very helpful to have a hood in the There are Velcro closures at the wrists that keep out water. A good location, the zip pockets are on top of the arms, so the life jackets don't get caught on them. That's great!.
This is the perfect place for kayak and canoe.
