This paddle serves its purpose admirably. It's simple to put together, light, and long and strong enough to be used by most people. br>br>With spring-loaded connectors, the pieces connect quickly and easily. Buttons that have been loaded Each joint should be strong enough to prevent the paddle from disintegrating while in use. To keep the springs from rusting, I'd make sure everything is completely dry after use, but that should be done anyway. br>br>The pole and paddles can be snapped together at three different angles depending on how much wrist snap you want. I've never trusted the rubber rings on the pole to keep water from dripping down onto my hands. br>br>My wife and the girls had no trouble maneuvering a five-person rubber raft around a lake using the paddle. It's sturdy enough for everyday use, but not for heavy duty - I'm not sure the paddle would last one lap if I were zipping around a lake in a kayak. This paddle, on the other hand, costs a fraction of what the heavy-duty paddle does. It also comes with heavy-duty paddles, giving you more bang for your buck. br>br>You should be able to tell the difference between the two. end paddle into two shorter paddles, as if two teenagers were paddling the raft together. When the raft was on the lake the other day, that didn't occur to me. br>br>I have no complaints.
This paddle appealed to me because it is divided into four sections and can be easily transported with my folding kayak. It was simple to put together, with all of the holes in the proper locations. Should I choose to fish, the paddle ends even have small notches for retrieving fishing gear. The comfort grips aren't very visible, and they're too far apart for me to use. Even when I'm using them, I can't tell the difference between them and a standard aluminum shaft. A decent paddle for the money.
It came with a leash and was easy to transport on my SUP and in my dry bag because it was packaged in four pieces. Unfortunately, it was too short for me to paddle while standing, but it was a good length for sitting or kneeling on a SUP. It's also a good length for kayaks, but it's a little heavier than the rental paddles, which surprised me. br>I believe I will need to upgrade to lighter paddles, and I am still looking for a longer paddle so I can use it while standing without switching sides. Paddles are good, but they don't meet my requirements.
Missing parts were included in the package. They requested a web-based image of the part. They requested that I send the missing component to them. Wow, you have got to be kidding me if you think missing a part is that difficult to comprehend. br>Now all I want is my money back because I'm sick of this nonsense, and that's exactly what their product looks like. br>It looks like a bridle, and if you try to push them off, I believe they'll break. br>I bought a Pelican brand kayak last year for another kayak, and it's a better kayak for a few dollars more.
I liked how easy these paddles were to disassemble, how light they were, and how useful the drip rings were. The hole on the opposite pole, however, was 1/4 center meter off on one side, so I had my husband drill it back that much before the knob would flip up and secure it.
The lightness appeals to me. It's very simple to disassemble and store in a small space.
I'm very pleased with them because they are exactly what I expected.
