Sometimes I let it float on the water so I have more room to fish when I'm doing that. As long as she is tethered to be free.
On once in a while, I would hit the kayak handle on my yak since I'm 5'4" and my yak is 30" wide (Lifetime Teton 10'). My only issue with it is that the handle is close to 33", which I am certain would hit the handle more than I expect. Other than that, I am satisfied with it.

As far as the paddle itself is concerned, it is just what I expected. Having a HUGE, IMPOSSIBLE TO PEEL STICKER covering one of the paddles was more than I could have imagined. The biggest pet peeve of mine is this. The best way to achieve your goals is to In addition, a poor customer experience affects customers in two ways. There is no better way of making a nice item feel cheap than by slapping a giant confetti paper sticker on it that takes 15 minutes of frustration to remove. In addition to leaving sticker scars, it also left me with a sore throat. It was frustrating to deal with the packaging as a whole. I was shocked at how much plastic it was wrapped in. Is the paddle one I would recommend? Not at all. Packaging should be rethought if the company wants to extend its shelf life. In any case, you are bound to experience the same level of.
It works great for me as an angler. I was looking for a paddle that would work specifically for angling. Having the line slot on the blade is a great way for you to follow your line and find your lure in the weeds. One of our pet peeves! There is not an excessive amount of weight in the paddle, and the blade is large enough to move my big boat easily. I saved a lot of money, too. The $400 carbon paddles aren't for me due to my bad habit of leaving paddles on the beach at the end of a day of fishing. Now that I've had this one for a little over a month I'm really enjoying it!.
Definitely one of the best paddles out there. It has a very lightweight handle, but the paddle itself is quite There are several fishing kayaks (sit on top kayaks) we have. In spite of the fact that the kayaks came with paddles, they were useless. I bought a Carlisle Magic Angler paddle in the 260cm length initially, but it was not available in the 250cm at the time. This prompted us to hold off on getting the second paddle until it turned up. Paddling with the Carlisle paddle is so much fun and makes kayaking so much more exciting. We couldn't find a paddle bigger than 250 cm for my daughter's kayak, so whenever we went for a paddle, I would give it to her and I would use the paddle that came with it. In search of new fish, we found this Pelican and decided to give it a shot. It was a great decision to make. My Carlisle paddle is almost as durable as this paddle. It is also very light weight (lighter even than my Carlisle). The handle on my Carlisle has been covered in bicycle handlebar tape, which I strongly recommend doing, as it makes paddling so much more comfortable and for long distance paddling there is no need for gloves. It has made a huge difference for me on long trips when I did the same for the Pelican. The paddle is a perfect performer in terms of performance. There is no way to overstate the importance of the weight because you can really feel it while traveling. During my mile trip, I used my Carlisle for about a mile and then switched to the Pelican and the difference in weight, although not much, is definitely noticeable. In spite of a slightly smaller paddle size, it still performs well even though it is less than my Carlisle. I think the Pelican paddle is an excellent upgrade. It's very affordable as well as being an excellent paddle. Despite the fact that I love my Carlisle paddle, I kind of liked using my Pelican paddle. As I read several reviews, this paddle comes with a sticker that is not easy to peel off. However, in our case, this sticker did not stick to the paddle.
Rather than using stickers that behave this way, let's use ones that don't.
If you're not interested in this paddle, you should not buy it. This paddle is expensive and not that good if all you want is a basic paddle. You want a paddle that's heavy and wiggling in the middle, this is it. You won't need to spend $300 or more to get a good paddle, but a slightly better paddle will give you a little bit more performance (and fewer injuries). As others have pointed out, that sticker which only partially peels off makes no sense.
I guess I'm just OK with it. It is a very flexible paddle, which I don't like Neither the paddle blade nor the paddle are very powerful, but the paddle is a good value for the price. This is the replacement for my Wilderness Systems Alpha paddle which was stolen recently, I cannot compare it to this. My wish is that I would just pay For a new one, you need to pay $ 100.
They were both dinged and bent when they arrived. It appears Pelican's QC department has a habit of not properly checking what they put in boxes, because both had dings that were very obvious and both of them had a section that was oval in shape instead of round due to You say it's a charm if you buy it a third time, but I've bought a bunch of pelican.
I ordered a 162" paddle and the box said 162. It is.
