I read in one review that it fills up with water; has anyone else experienced this?

One of them was filled with water by me. Yes, if they don't fix it, it's a possibility. Mine was built incorrectly and was always full of water. I've had three of these, and only one of them actually worked. It was aggravating because I fish two to three days a week, rain or shine, and I had to return that one because it kept filling up with water and the deals inside were garbage.

How much does this paddle weigh?

It's 30 ounces, not 3 pounds, as the uninformed individual claimed.

Fills to the brim with water

This paddle has left me utterly, utterly, utterly disappointed. I have other paddles that I paid a lot of money for, but I wanted to get rid of them for one reason in particular. Because the handles absorb water, this is the reason. br>br>Let me be clear about something. If the paddle fills up with water, there is absolutely NO REASON to purchase an EXPENSIVE LIGHT WEIGHT paddle. The handle, like other paddles, absorbs water with regular use, even if they are carbon fiber and half the price. br>br>If you can't keep water out of the handle, it's not worth a third of what you paid for it. It's not even worth its weight in mud from the rivers' bottoms where I fish. br>br>Sure, it's carbon fiber, and it looks nice. That's supposed to lighten it up, but the left end of the paddle is now sloshing water back and forth inside, with no way to drain it. In the first place, the water shouldn't be able to get in. It could just as well be made of wood with a lacquer finish, as that would be a more attractive design than this paddle. br>br>Man, I'm so irritated. I would look elsewhere and consider returning this joke of a paddle because it completely defeats the purpose of purchasing an expensive, purpose-made product.

Excellent value for money

I really like it. Paddle for the entire day without putting any strain on your shoulders. I've run blases through some oyster beds and they've come out unscathed. The ruler's shaft markings are extremely useful. There is no stick, no play, and no wobble when the two halves are joined. This product has made me very happy.

Finally, I invested in a good paddle, and what a difference it has made. My standard Vibe paddle is much heavier and shorter than this one. I'm able to go a lot further now that I've learned how to paddle.

Because my kayak is 35 inches wide, this paddle works well to propel it forward. The shaft appears to have a good deal of strength to it. I've slammed it against rocks, banks, tree limbs, other kayaks, stepped on it, and so on. My only complaint is that I wish it was a 280cm paddle so that I could get a little more clearance over the side of my Pursuit. BUT. as I previously stated. My kayak has a lot of room! This paddle is ideal for kayaks with a length of 35 inches or less. This is a purchase that will not let you down.

I can't say enough good things about this product; it makes kayaking a lot of fun, and if you're willing to spend $200 on it, you won't be disappointed.

There was no examination of the paddle. Despite the fact that it lacked the lure retrieval feature, it was sold for full price despite the poor packaging, which was barely taped together. I will not be purchasing from this seller in the future.

Paddle is light enough, but only half of it was delivered. Despite the fact that this page shows 5 left in stock, Amazon claims they are unable to replace it. br>br>Buy it from the Bending Branches website as a joke.

I'm new to kayak fishing and I'm glad I invested the extra cash. These paddles were absolutely incredible! The light weight made for a fun day on the water, and I didn't get too tired after four hours on the water. I would definitely say it was money well spent!.
