The carbon shaft is a little lighter weight but not enough for me to spend the extra money on it. I only bought it because it was on sale. I was able to find stock in my desired size. Nonetheless, this Aqua Bound Fiberglass is strong and light weight, has a better price than the more costly carbon fiber one and is the one that I would recommend over the carbon fiber one. You can't go wrong with either of them, since they're both great paddles.

It is not visible to the eye, but it does make a visible difference when holding or A blade with a design that produces far more speed than a blade with a common style. The paddle I received is a perfect choice for my wife who is a kayak enthusiast. Her heart melts when she sees A perfect fit and the tubing is made precisely. The halves of the product are easy to put together and the tubes are well-made.
