XS Scuba Deluxe Yoke / Din Tank Pressure Checker

Even though I've been pleased with other products from this company in the past, I have zero confidence in the quality of the present unit. I do not think that this was because of a rough delivery as the unit looked well packaged in bubble wrap. There must have been a quality control problem at the manufacturing facility. Obviously there was no way for anyone to check these before shipping since they are intended for only one purpose. My return request for this one is in, and I am considering not purchasing any more from this brand in the future.

I did my job for a couple of weeks, however. Approximately three days after the return window closed, the accuracy of this item did as well. Pictured in the bottom right corner, the pressure is around 1400 psi while siting on the bench. Three of my 3ALs at 3k psi are going to push the maximum and I am afraid if I put the gauge on one of my high pressures, it may blow the OPV off of this thing, should it even have an OPV. Customer service is not available on this thing. I guess I'll have to spend more money, but not with this brand.

That was a big disappointment. A recent update As soon as I contacted the company, they sent out a new one without me having to ship in my old one first. RETURN WAS AN EASY PROCESS AND THE NEW ONE WORKS GREAT. I have changed the rating to 5 stars.

Based on what I read, I agree with While there were a lot of negative comments on this application, I rolled the dice wishing for the best outcome. There was no such thing as that. As soon as I attached the gauge to a tank, it read 2000 PSI while my other gauges were reading XS Scuba provided me with a defective product, and I returned it. I do not intend to purchase their products The company does make other decent products (maybe hoses, spools, valves), but this is not a good product. Take advantage of this opportunity before it's too late.
