In order to purchase a cheaper wetsuit instead of an expensive one for now, I'd like to purchase a wetsuit for my son who is beginning to learn to surf. Definitely one of the best wetsuits I've ever had. As far as sizing goes, they were correct, so be sure to look at the size chart. You are supposed to put these on very tightly, and they should peel off as soon as they are removed. The amount of room you should have should be very small. Since the child is kept warm by the clothing, it fits like a second skin. Keeping them loose will allow water to get in, making the child cold, which is counterproductive to the reason you want to have them in a wetsuit in the first place.

A message like this popped up and peeked my interest. My husband and I spend time in the UP of Michigan, but the water is a little cool for him, so I thought we would give it a shot. It was a hit with him! While playing in the water, he kept up with his sister and cousins all day. Ahead of this purchase, he would enjoy sitting on the beach and watching people. Despite the cold temperature, his lips never turned blue and he never shivered. I was amazed at how beautiful it was! Because the zipper on the back had a long pull cord, it was easy for him to get on and off for potty needs. After cleaning it up with a good hose off and hanging it to dry, it was ready to pack up by the time we put the campfires out.

I wear a size 9 because I am very thin. '05 is a great the way he is (small for his age, not quite 50 lbs. and very energetic. The vest did not hinder his swimming ability and he seemed to be comfortable in it. He was not able to keep warm with it. Even with a thin little hiney, he still got the chills.

During our November vacation, I bought this for my son to use while swimming/boogie boarding off the coast of California. On multiple days, we spent all day at the beach starting around 9 AM and ending around I am so glad I bought this! When my son usually only plays on the beach for maybe an hour in the early summer before getting too cold, he begging us to get out, but I didn't have to worry about him complaining about getting cold after purchasing this wetsuit. There was no doubt that the suit was worth every I have a child who is 11 years old, and he is a Med/7-sized child who is slender for his age Clothing for boys is size 8. The size I bought was determined by measuring him according to the instructions and then picking it based on that measurement. Even though he measured at the top limit of the first size, he would have still had room to grow in this. He would have been just above the lower limit of the next size. I'm so glad we didn't have to go up a size from what reviews suggested. It is advisable to estimate the size and measure your child before ordering. So that the water cannot get into the suit, the suit needs to fit snug, like it's somewhat of a workout to put on. The only thing my son wore under the suit was his underwear. The reason I say this is because you should be able to wear swim shorts underneath it because it should be too tight to do so. If your kids are going to use the bathroom before they put it on, make sure they use the one they've been using. It's hard to get it up and down when it's wet, and it took both of us As soon as you put on the suit, it should feel snug, but I was able to help my son stand, sit, and move his limbs like a normal person. My son was kept dry and warm for as long as he played in the water while wearing this suit.

It was ordered for my son for us to use on our trips to the springs, so he could deal with the cold water a bit better. While we have not used them yet, as for fit, I ordered for him size #14 according to his measurements. A 13-year-old with a skinny build and weighing 95 pounds, he is the perfect fit for it. You might want to size up a little bit. The size 12 he wears in regular clothes is 12B. My overall impression is that the fit is very good and the quality of the garment is excellent.

The wetsuits were a little long, but were easily rolled up when needed. It is predicted that the wetsuits will last for at least two seasons. I was so happy to see that they both got one! The quality of the shirt was good and the fit was perfect unless the length wasn't right. The cold weather can be severe at Lake Tahoe, where the snow on the mountains can make the water chilly. This allows the kids to play in the water for a longer period of time.

I purchased this for my 4 year old, 5T, in North California. It fit him perfectly, and keeps him warm. The construction is solid, the materials are good, and the design is great. I'm very pleased with the price and there are no uncomfortable areas at all The zipper is covered by a flap on the inside, so the neck doesn't rub against it and it fits securely.
