There is no way to make it In order for the rubber band to shoot, it would have to stretch a long way. Even as it is, it is pretty short and compact.

I was thrilled with how well it worked. All I can suggest is to twist it 3/4 turn before releasing it. I found that it made the shot more accurate as well as strainer. First time I swam with a goldfish in two feet of water from a boat it took me four tries.

The rubber sling is defective

This is one of the most important parts for the device to work and, as a result, it is frustrating and disappointing! So I guess I'll take a fishing rod with me. Why do we have to plop the string into a fiberglass hole that isn't even finished? My next purchase will probably be of higher quality so I'll spend the extra money then.

This is a perfect travel bag

This was bought for a trip to Jamaica where I will be diving. I can pack it in my checked bag along with my I recommend getting the shocker tip with the spear poles, which is also available on Amazon. My dive boat had several spear poles equipped with it.

The fibers in the glass are It came with a storage/travel bag full of fiber glass slivers, and now my hands are filled with fiber glass slivers, even though I have not used the product yet

As soon as I threw the bag away, I got rid of it. For now, I'll give it three stars based on how the rest of the product seems so far. Depending on how I use it, I may need to adjust.

Splinters of fiberglass cover the surface

Stacks up easily and has a sturdy feel to it. Here are some of the downsides It has fiberglass splinters on it. My tub had my opening in it, so I washed it there with gloves on. In addition, I had to drill the rubber band hole on the top of the tray because it was not drilled properly. As a spear, this is exactly what you would expect for this price point.
