Questions & Answers

The sheath on this set has broken and I already own it. If I lose my knife, can I replace it without having to buy another one?

It costs $5 to buy the sheath. Shipping costs $3 and each item costs $10.00. You can reach us at 818-, or you can fax The 913/2000 You can order it by calling 3359. Thanks a lot.

I'm glad you like the green color. What kind of light does it cast Can you tell me if a reflective material is used? Thanks. ?

Not only does it not shine, it is neither reflective nor glowing. With no night indicators, it is bright mat green in color.

Although my order was for black, I received a black sheath with white handles. The two of them looked like they were both black to me. Was there a mix-up or does this appear to be how they arrive?

A brief history of my life. It is likely that color match will not be guaranteed

I'm glad you like the green color. What kind of light does it cast Could you please let me know if the phrase is reflective?

It is true that the blue, yellow, and pink are neon colors, but they are not glow-in-the-dark colors These stars are dark, and they do not

One of the most important pieces of spearfishing gear
5/5

My family members have liked these knives, and I have bought three of them for myself. It was a McCnett that I first used for diving, and I find it to be a good design. The only difference is that this knife has the same design and it is made of the same steel. The only difference is that the sheath has a little opening to push to take out your knife rather than the McNett. If I'm selecting a knife for use underwater, I want it to be compact since I prefer to carry it on my forearm, have a strong tip that can finish off big fish, and have a blade that keeps an edge so that I can clean my fish under water. In terms of knives, I would prefer thin stilleto type dive knives rather than the big cool looking ones, and while these can be used without risk of snapping the blade, they are usually very expensive and you can damage your fish while processing. With this knife, it is very sleek and compact, there is plenty of "meat" at the tip of the knife, so I am not afraid of it breaking on me, and it has maintained a sharp edge for at least the last 10 diving trips. As much as I take high care of my knife, it is still exceptional for a diving knife, which is exposed to such intense conditions, to hold such an edge in the first place. If you are a fisherman who is looking for a quality knife that isn't going to bust your budget, then I highly recommend this one. Just get a few Riffe forearm straps and some bungee cords and you're good to go.

The site was good in the past, but it used to be better today
3/5

(The stainless steel has been downgraded). Having lost the same knife in the ocean while spearfishing after using it for 2 years, I bought it for the second time. Prior to the upgrade, the old one was made of stainless steel grade 420, but is now made of stainless steel grade A little research on the difference was done. After the first use, the tip bent easily because it is softer, and it became dull for regular use due to its softer nature. I was disappointed. We're hoping to see no rust after we rinse and oil the parts. Underwater, it is easy to handle and has a well-designed control system. There are several features on the blade that make it an excellent cutting tool. The knife is quite good, though I wish they would continue using the 420 steel (as shown in the picture).

The knife is excellent for the price! My purpose for buying this knife is to carry it on a daily basis
5/5

Hiking, fishing, hunting, and the beach are some of the things I intend to do with it. As you can see, the point is clear. Even so, it is not meant to be used to chop wood or to slice an animal up. This knife will be kept in an easily accessible location since it will be a backup knife, and used in case of an emergency. My hands fit well with this knife, but I am not the biggest and I do not have the biggest hands. The knife feels solid, the handle is hard plastic. It is not rubberized as I would like, but I believe it will last longer, and it is not slippery is very sharp right out of the box, and it is a full tang, so it should stand up well to everyday use. In addition to its nice appearance, the knife is easy to use since the case clicks into place. I have been searching for a smallish knife for a while and have come across some with little plastic sheaths that hold it in by friction, but they have A positive click is felt inside the sheath when the knife is locked into the tab on the In addition to the tab on one side of the knife, there are also tabs on the other side for storage. In addition to the flat slots on the side, it has a vertical slot to pass your belt through, as well as straps on the side to allow it to be worn The handle stuck high up and forced me to keep my belly stuck in it while I wore it on my waist attached to my belt. If worn sideways on your belt either at the front, or just right or left of the buckle, or at the back, I found that it is most comfortable. A belt that straps around your ankle or thigh. The strap of a backpack or hydration pack would be a suitable place for the device. The only con I can think of is that there is a plastic bar that screwed onto the back of the sheath to allow space for your belt. I think the plastic is a bit thin. However, I don't see it breaking off in one piece. In either case, it is screwed so it should not be too difficult to invent something to replace it.

I think this is the perfect knife for the job
4/5

The safety knife that you can clip on your PFD or belt is an excellent fit for people interested in this kind of knife. I find the quick release sheath to be strong and sharp enough to allow me to remove rope quickly. However, if you are planning to use it as some kind of spear fishing knife or small utility knife, then it will not stand up to heavy use. The stainless steal will not hold up to much regular use, and the blade is shaped in such a manner that it will not be able to easily If you work around salt water, you will also need to give this a fresh water bath and some olive oil. When you use it for the first time in salt water, your rim will get light surface rust, but it will clean up easily if you take care of it after every trip. The way the handle is attached to the handle of the knife also allows water to get into it and settle on the handle, so you have to ensure that you are air drying it so that the water can leak back out otherwise you will end up rusting out the handle. Despite liking the knife, I will not be carrying it on my PFD for kayaking, but I will be taking something else for spearfishing. The F. *. You should make sure to read what color you are receiving and not rely on the photos. It turned out to be a pretty pink one and I thought it was a red one lol. Thanks to spray paint I managed to make it look that way.

Everything seems to be going well so far
4/5

I just received it a few days ago. My goal was to find a low maintenance, fixed blade knive with a secure sheath that would be perfect for camping and hiking. I like the locking button on the sheath so far, and so far it appears to be well built. It can easily deal with whatever the Michigan wilderness has to throw at it, especially since it is made for sea water. It is only the handle that concerns me. The blade is solid, but gets a little slick when wet, and I don't see much of a hilt. I'm worried that it will take a slip and slice my hand while I'm six miles from my car with rough terrain. In the coming weeks, I will put some effort into my own development This should solve the problem because the wrap has adhesive on it. I will update this review once spring arrives and I have put it through its paces actually in the woods.

Even though the knife is nice and the size is right for me, no accompanying accessories were included
3/5

Although I really like the knife and its size, it did not come with straps, something that did worry me since I happened to have two straps, but they are too big to use almost everywhere, so I worried it would break if it got caught on anything. It already has some rust on it at the tip and base of the blade, as you can see in the attached picture. I dove with it twice, I rinsed it along with my other gear, and I can see it has rust at the tip and base of the blade. What a bummer.

My suggestion is to find a knife that is more appropriate for the task you will perform
3/5

A dive trip to the Bahamas recently led me to purchase this knife. I only did 7 dives over the course of To keep my gear clean, all my gear was washed in fresh water and hung to dry at the end of each day. The blade has already rusted by the time I get home to do a final cleaning and dry before putting it away! It would be best if you found a knife that will allow you to use it for many.
