This doesn't fit on the PFD lash tab, but that was my fault, and I figured out how to attach it without it. I like how it feels in my hands, and how large it is.
These are better than NRS knives and they never rust either.
If attached to the BCD, it is very bulky.
Knife of excellent quality.
A dive knife was what my husband wanted (he has several, but not this small one). His primary reason for carrying a dive knife is in case he should get tangled in rope or other debris while diving. Because of the knife's sharp serrated edge, he likes it very much. Not a big deal, for he has a lot of knives, but I appreciate having There isn't much to say about the blade except that it's pretty durable. There is no flex in the handle, and the handle is large enough to have a firm grip (and keep ahold of) even when wearing gloves. This scuba diver says he isn't concerned about pulling this off during recreational dives with it. A knife he's had for years, which is more expensive, is what he prefers for high-end cooking Although it might not be the right knife for high-risk conditions, this is light and small and ideal for diving in the Caribbean or in other places (i. e. locations where he is not likely to need to cut through thick items or pry anything large while diving, such as cave diving).
It is important to me to carry a knife when I dive, in case I or my dive buddy get entangled in ropes, fishing lines, or nets. Additionally, this knife has a line hook and a good serrated edge, both of which were key features driving this design. There is comfort to the handle and the knife can be locked into its sheath on either side of the sheath You can guard to the left or the There is not much sharpening available since the blade edge is a little dull, but that's not a big deal and it can easily I don't think the packaging is going to be easy to It would be nice if an elastic band had been provided to allow me to secure the sheath to my leg, which is a reasonable requirement given the price.
My kayak fishing trips involve this knife, which I use while fishing. It is really nice. Rubberized grip inserts in the handle make it very easy to hold wet or dry. The heft and balance in the hand makes it very enjoyable. A flipper is a pronounced flipper In addition to an ergonomic grip, type protrusions provide good protection although significant force will still be applied. In addition to being strong and durable, the blade is thick for its length and feels good in the hand. The tool has a nice sharp edge right out of the box, and the serrations and cutting surfaces are also very Besides the slot at the base of the blade, there is a groove in it as well A lanyard can be attached to it, and it sticks out far enough to be useful for banging while In addition to having a very good quality case, the knife is seated in the case with a satisfying click sound and feeling. There are belt clips and strap slots on the case so it can be mounted in various ways. In my opinion, if I were a diver, which I am not, the side edges of the blunt tip should have been more dulled. stand, they are fairly sharp and render the blunt tip less safe for use since the edges are so sharp. As such, I do not consider it a concern. Consequently, this is a 5 star review for me. This particular product has a lot of good qualities and durability, a lot of versatility, and a fair price.
Although it is not truly pointy, the points where it meets the edge are sharp enough to puncture if one gets too close to it or uses too much pressure. The quality of As far as blades go, this appears to be a good one The piece looks well made even though I am not going to subject it to destructive fire testing like Forged In Fire. With the different mounting options, you can easily use it in different ways, thus making it possible to obtain it quickly should the need arise. This knife is a good knife so long as you pay attention to its quirks, even though it was not what I had expected.
