With my diving gear, I keep a pencil eraser in my tool kit as well as the big one I use to erase mistakes. It isn't difficult for me to erase something I have written.

Many people have expressed their opinion that the pencil can't be erased from In my observation, any underwater slate is very difficult to erase, but that seems to be the case for all underwater slates. As far as a basic slate goes, this one is a good value, and I have used it on dozens of dives without any problems. Stick it in your BC pouch, and you won't have to think about it.
Its quality is excellent, but once I used it, the grip was not as smooth as I had hoped. There is no way to wipe off the pencil under water (or on the surface of the service). I could only write a few notes on the slate before I realized that if I wanted to communicate with it again I would have to write small or use the other side of the slate since the pencil marks would not It didn't work when I tried rubbing them off on the surface with a cloth and even using toothpaste. Using this in the future will require a softer graphite stick or something similar. Aside from the slate and clip, the plastic cordage and the pencil are all good to go. It works just like any golf course.
The clip broke. Despite the fact that it is cheap, the plastic clip broke after the second dive. Additionally, it cannot easily be deleted. Given the low price, I was not expecting much from them. In order to maintain safety, between dives, I will jerry rig a metal clip and use a magic eraser.
My favorite thing about this slate is its size. I like it tucked into my BCD quite a bit. All I have to complain about is that the pencil has fallen out of whatever plastic case it is in.
The pencil seems a little flimsy, and it could be replaced with something else if it is not as durable as it could be. The only dives I've done with it so far are three.
As a team, we scuba a lot, and hand signals don't work all the time. The ability to convey more complex viewpoints without having to surface is essential in communicating more complex ideas (basically anything other than up, down, and ok). Fortunately, we forgot the cleanser at home when we went on vacation, "we found the culprit. . . " I recommend this.
Those who use pencils to communicate have too faint an outline In spite of the little area it provides for taking notes, I don't see the point in pulling it out. I'm not sure what this is really useful for, but it wouldn't be surprising if you used it under water to communicate.
Exactly what it says it will do! The adjustable clip may be attached to any surface and is small and lightweight so as not to interfere with diving.
I purchased a few of these for a family trip to the beach. This is a great product! You can use an eraser to erase easily. Communication and taking notes while under the sea is a nice feature.
