Questions & Answers
You can disassemble the rail for transportation (as it came in the box), but you can't cut it down and use it that way.
I'd contact the seller first, but if that doesn't work, you can go to your local hardware store and buy a pin that will work. The effective length must be at least 2 inches and the diameter is 1/2 inch. I hope this information is useful.
It's possible to use it in shorter pieces.
No idea. I've had it for about two years, and it's rusted a little. But it hasn't been taken over by rust; it just has some surface rust and is currently on the porch. Although the porch has a roof, it is not enclosed, and it is snowing heavily outside. All I. All. This is a purchase that is unquestionably worthwhile. I'm an aggressive inline skater who's never had a problem with it. It also breaks down into three pieces and stows away easily when I want to take it with me.

This is something I ordered for my two teenage sons, who are big skateboarders. I was thinking of going with a one-piece rail because I figured it would be more stable and solid than one with connecting parts. I could tell right away that this wasn't going to be a problem when I opened the package. The parts and welds appear to be of good quality, and putting it together is simple and self-explanatory. The rail's lightness is another feature that makes it stand out. It manages the load exceptionally well for a light rail. My boys finally had the opportunity to do so, and they were ecstatic. When I asked them if they thought it was a keeper, they both said yes. I also inquired as to whether it felt unstable, to which they both replied that it did not. They also appreciate how long it is in comparison to other grinds, which is beneficial for learning solid grinds. For the price, this is an excellent product. It is also possible to disassemble it for transport. Thanks.
I've spent the best $100 I've ever had. It comes in 5 pieces and takes 2 minutes to assemble and disassemble, with a very sturdy construction. Height is adjustable by 9 inches. It's the ideal height for having fun and learning new tricks or putting what you already know into practice. Haters will say it moves around and isn't stable, but they also have no idea what they're talking about. I've probably ground this over a hundred times and have never had a problem with it tipping or moving. Purchase it if you can locate a seller.
The rail is quite heavy and could probably be transported easily if it were dismantled, but it is a well-balanced rail that I enjoy.
It's perfect for skating. Bicycles cannot be used because the space is too small. Rollerblades or skateboards, on the other hand, are fantastic. I'm taller than 6' and weigh more than 200 pounds. There were no issues at all. It's built to last. According to one review, the middle of the product bowed. The sections are too short; this isn't possible unless the pieces were assembled incorrectly. I highly recommend this for quick driveway sessions as someone who has skated on and off for decades. Welds are good and the weight is low.
This device is simple to set up and operate. It's low enough for beginners, and it's fast enough that I broke my arm the first time I used it. That's how you can tell if it's good or not.
In comparison to other companies, the Rail is excellent in terms of length and cost. I'd like to point out that it might not be the best choice for beginners because the rail's coping is very small, making it feel like you're walking on a tightrope. I've found that a slightly larger round rail is much more accommodating for beginners learning to balance and skate rails. Due to that misfortune, I haven't skated as much as I had hoped because I'm teaching others to skate and have discovered other resources. Although it is still a good buy, you may find that other options are better.
Now that I have this "travel rail," I am leveling up much faster. It glides like butter, is extremely compact, and is simple to divide into three sections. From the back of my rig, it takes ten seconds to disassemble and reassemble. I get a lot more practice time without getting as tired as I do when I go street skating or park skating, and after just a few days, I'm dialing a lot more grinds that were previously hit or miss for me. My only regret, and I mean this seriously, is that I didn't get this earlier in the summer. It's been 20 years since I've participated in this sport.
