Yes, but if this wrist guard is the right shape, it is determined mostly by the width of the hand.
The gloves should be thin if they are to be used. With Velcro straps, you can adjust the straps to fit any size.

Many wrist guards I have used have not fit as well as this one. Due to my small wrists, I would always have a problem with them fitting around my hand yet being too large around my wrist. People with bigger wrists might find it uncomfortable to tighten them. That's not what we want! In my outdoor quad skating days, I have taken my fair share of spills on concrete (it ain't fun). It's safe to say these can withstand some punishment. It was even fun for my daughter to try them. They are no longer mine, I think. There are just so many great features on these! Wrist guards that are comfortable, sturdy, and do not give you any blisters. You will not be disappointed if you purchase them!.

If other brands have fingers with more maneuverability, they would provide better gripping ability, needed for bicycles.
I can adjust the plastic palm guard to cover the portion of my wrist that I need to protect, but the plastic wrist guard can't cover the entire wrist. My hands have been scratched up repeatedly and I've torn through the mesh near my thumb multiple times.
Due to the wristguards, I fell and now my wrist pain is severe. Though I landed on them briefly before doing a shoulder roll, I still received a sufficient shock to cause my wrist to fracture.
