Questions & Answers

What would a 14-year-old's shoe size be?

Measure the circumference of your hand at the knuckles and compare it to the sizes listed below to ensure a perfect wrist guard fit: JR 6. br>br> 0 – 7. 0 in br>S br>S br>S br>S br> 0 – 8. M 8. 0 inbr>0 inbr>0 inbr>0 inbr>0 in 0 – 9. L 9. 0 inbr>0 inbr>0 inbr>0 inbr>0 in 0 – 10. 0 in

Do you have a second?

Yes, there are two pairs.

Is it possible to snowboard with these?

These barely fit under a pair of XL ski gloves, which I wear in the sm/m size. My favorite mode of transportation is an electric unicycle. br>Snowboarders need wrist protection, so look for wrist guards that don't have a built-in slider (a bump on the palm).

What is the number of guards in each order?

Each order comes with two wrist guards.

Although useful, it is only intended for one use
3/5

I had these for less than a week when I crashed at 20 mph on an electric skateboard, and they undoubtedly saved my wrist, which would have been broken if it hadn't been for the guard, but ended up looking like the picture. br>br>With one strap ripped like that, it didn't feel secure, so I ended up sewing some soft leather on the inside to keep it together, which has worked well and feels much more sturdy. It's made of a very thin mesh that can only handle light friction. To sum it up, the guard is functional and safe, but it's more of a one-time use item that won't last more than a couple of significant falls. It is, however, repairable at an early stage.

The Triple 8 Wristsaver II wrist guard is a good buy, and I bought it along with a Onewheel
5/5

I'm extremely pleased with the results. I read in the reviews that they ran small, so I went with the Large size, which I'm glad I did. My height is 5'9" and my hair is medium-length. I have medium-sized hands, and the Large is a perfect fit. br>br>I've had them for over a month and am very pleased with my purchase. They are extremely well-made (not at all cheap) and long-lasting. All of the materials and stitching are of high quality. Also, the splints that protect the wrist and palm have a design that I really like. The palm sprint has a slight curve to it, which gives me a sense of security. I'm going to be glad I'm wearing these if I have to go down. br>br>This is correct in terms of "easy slip on and off. " Basically, you'll need to fully loosen the straps before pulling them on and off. Retighten them, and presto - you're done. Let's get this party started. It's pretty straightforward. For the price and quality, this is a 5 star product. No cons.

- 24th of April, 2021 - br>These wristguards have been in my possession for about two years. After a couple of bad falls, I'm sticking to my 5-point plan. a rating of five stars I strongly advise you to purchase them. br>br>In particular, one fall, I was driving my OneWheel at about 18 MPH when it abruptly stopped. (At least, that's how I explained it to my wife. ) Anyway, I was launched into the air and couldn't get my feet under me fast enough; fortunately, I landed squarely on my knee pads and these Triple 8 Wristsaver II guards. Wow. I slid about 5 feet on the nasty asphalt. br>br>Instead of serious road rash or possibly worse, I jumped up and looked around to see if anyone had noticed my nasty spill. Although I was fortunate, these wrist guards "saved" my life.

For the money, it's fine
4/5

These wrist guards do not exude quality. They're made of synthetic materials that are extremely thin. The stitching is of poor quality. It's skewed and has a lot of loose ends. br>I usually wear most types of gloves in a large size, which is a little tight. I ordered a large size, and they fit perfectly. br>Functionally, I have no doubt that these wrist guards will provide adequate protection. However, I don't anticipate them lasting more than a few weeks of daily riding on my onewheel before the stitching and materials begin to fail. And that's without having to deal with any falls. br>I'm still looking for good, well-written articles. wrist guards were made I'm willing to pay a higher price for high-quality items. Whatever it costs, it will be a lot less than the medical bills if I break my wrist. I've been there and done that.

It's been tinkered with and made to look cheap
3/5

After measuring my adult hand, I purchased a medium size, which fits well but is a little tight. I'm going to do my best to make it work. I agree with other reviews that it has a cheap feel to it. The actual cloth in the sides, which does stretch around the hand, is extremely thin, not the plastic bars in the front and back. I believe it will tear with the first fall and will not stand up to the test of time, UV light, or stretching. The elastic cloth that connects the top and bottom halves is the weak link in this product; I'm on the verge of returning it, but I'll keep it because I need guards. Next time, I'll go back to my 187 and, even better, hillbilly brand wrist guards, because, unlike ten years ago, Triple 8 has sold out to imported and cheaply made gear.

SIZES UP ARE RECOMMENDED! The sizing chart is completely incorrect
5/5

For my son and his One Wheel, the quality and design are excellent! br>br>However, be sure to SIZE WAY UP! br>br>We measured and purchased the recommended JR size for my 13-year-old based on the sizing chart— they were WAY TOO SMALL! br>br>Like would most likely only fit a small toddler, perhaps a 5-year-old. br>br>Also, my kids are small-boned, so if you're a big guy, consider going up a size. sizing for that as wellbr>br>We exchanged them for a medium, which fit perfectly! br>br>Nice and snug so it doesn't slide around, but not too tight so it cuts off circulation and causes pain and discomfort (as the Jr size pair did, and the sizing chart recommended).

JR should be the size of a small child
3/5

I bought these for my 12-year-old daughter because she was going skiing and needed wrist protection, but when we got them, we realized they were much too small. She, on the other hand, did not surrender. She tried to cram her hand into the gloves, but we noticed her hand was turning purple, so she quickly yanked them out. We were taken aback when she fully extended her hand. It was completely purple and appeared to have a blood vein poking through it. I'm wondering if the thought will wash off soon after we get it. What's more, the purple was completely removed with a little soap and water. As a result, be aware that the ink on the brace can wear off. But, on the plus side, the wraps are a perfect fit for my four-year-old daughter, who adores them. She hasn't taken them off in a long time.

Dude! I've used these a couple of times and they've always come through for me
5/5

These were always going to be the most important part of my self-defense kit. My pedal clipped the side of the speed bump I was going around on my first night riding my electric unicycle, and I fell to the ground. I cut one of my right fingers on the pavement and ripped my jacket's left elbow, but my wrists were not broken. br>Now, under my wrist guards, I wear leather gloves when I ride. I never use my EUC unless I'm wearing wrist guards. After eight months of use, they're starting to fray along the hemlines. To repair the unraveling seams, I'll sew by hand. But, for $20, they've saved my life at least twice, and I've had them for nine months, so it's not bad.
