To begin, the hoverboard functioned properly. After three weeks, the charger stopped working. I filed a warranty claim per service's instructions, and I'm still waiting for a response after three weeks. Every three days, I contact them, and they tell me to wait three days for a management review.
The item description stated 9 mph and a 400 watt battery, but the instruction manual only lists 7 mph and 300 watts? I don't believe we received what was advertised. It works well, but I only bought it because of the faster speed and battery description.
One of the main reasons I bought this vehicle was because it had 8" wheels, which meant it could go off-road. This unit has the standard 6 volt battery for road use. Aside from the false advertising, it appears to work well and has had no mechanical issues; I would have given it a higher rating if it could off-road. road. Amazon's sellers are allowed to lie, which is very disappointing.
Purchased for my nephew, we had to reset the device after a week, and two weeks later, it starts working some days and then stops working on other days. When you turn on the board now, it beeps incessantly; It appears to only go in the opposite direction. Attempting to resolve this problem has been extremely difficult.
It's battery life is terrible; I'm lucky if I get a half-hour out of it.
It worked perfectly in the house, but when we took it outside, the battery lasted the entire time the first time we used it, but the second time we used it, the battery only lasted about half as long on a full charge. We are now unable to charge it in any way.
Since arriving in mid-July, it hasn't worked. I would not suggest it.
She likes it a lot! The battery life is adequate, lasting two days. The wheels' lights are really cool, especially in the dark. The weight isn't excessive, but it's still substantial. This purchase has brought me great joy. We had hoped for a carrying case, but that isn't a major issue.
