Wear a helmet if you ride this scooter! I was planning on purchasing a less expensive scooter for our two children
5/5

I decided to splurge and get something that will last a couple of years for my 5-year-old. We gave it to her for Christmas, and while she was initially hesitant, she is now zooming around on it quite quickly. She can't use the brakes yet, but she can put her foot down and come to a complete stop. This deluxe model's handlebars can be adjusted in height. We raised it about a quarter of the way from its lowest position. Regrettably, the handlebars sink gradually until they reach a point of no return. The locking mechanism feels tight, but with enough downward pressure or light downward pressure (especially when riding over small bumps with vibrations), the handlebar will drop. As a result, you'll need to re-adjust every few days. It's not a huge deal, but it's worth noting (hence the four stars rather than five). It actually locks into place when the handlebars are set to their highest position. br>br> When the handlebars are fully extended, there is a small spring-loaded button that engages. Unclamp it before pressing the button to lower it. Warning: br>br> When trying to get over a bump, this scooter has a habit of flipping forward. This happened to my daughter a couple of times. I was right next to her the first time, and I caught her before she flipped forward; the second time, she did fall, but it was only a minor fall. She hit a bump on an uneven sidewalk the third time and fell forward, landing face first on the sidewalk. Her chin had scraped up a bit and her lip was bleeding. She wore a helmet with enough protrusion to protect the rest of her face. I'm thinking about getting a chin guard for my helmet (though that wouldn't have prevented her bloody lip, which I believe was caused by her biting it). br>br>THEREFORE, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR CHILD WEARS A HELMET WHILE RIDING THIS. UPDATES: br>br>NEW ADDITIONS: br>br>NEW ADDITIONS:
- The allen key included in the package can be used to tighten the handlebar height locking mechanism. The latch clamps down firmly after being slightly tightened, and the handlebar no longer creeps down.
- Since writing this review, my daughter hasn't flipped over. She appeared to be leaning too far forward on the handlebars.
- I'm giving it a 5 star rating.

After one year, the tire has become worn and misshapen
3/5

5 months. This was a Christmas present for my son. The rear wheel has worn down after only a month (during the winter, so it's not like he rode it every day), causing the scooter to bounce.

It was a lot of fun and a lot of exercise
5/5

This is the best gift we could have given to our toddler. We began working with him when he was 18 months old. He began riding straight lines and then only left turns (pushing with his left foot) after a little practice. He was an expert at turning left and right by the time he was two years old. He's 2. Now five years old, he's a pro at this, holding out his leg to make sharper turns. To chase him down, my wife and I purchased a micro Monster scooter for adults. It's turned into a fun activity for the whole family.

This is an excellent scooter
5/5

My son is two years old. He enjoys it so much that he rides it every day at the age of five! He only needed three minutes to accomplish this. It took me five days to learn how to ride it properly. It satisfies my needs. However, a friendly reminder to parents considering purchasing this scooter: be cautious of the scooter's adjustment knob, as it may cause injury to your child. When my son fell off the scooter, the knob cut one of his eyelids, causing it to bleed. As a result, tape or something similar should be used to completely cover the knob. Aside from that, it's an excellent scooter.

The quality is excellent, but it is clearly worn and dirty
3/5

This is a high-quality scooter that is well worth the higher price, but my new scooter was used and dirty when it arrived. The handles and foot board were covered in clumps of dirt, and the wheels were scratched. It had to have been used or returned before. The cardboard packaging was already ripped - The scooter was just lying around in the box, and the manuals and documents had been refolded incorrectly. I bought the Max version for my 5-year-old earlier this year, and there was a noticeable difference in the packaging, which was clearly brand new and clean. br>br>Like the Max, this Mini appears to be well-made, durable, and smooth. I don't like returning things, so I cleaned it up and it appears to be aligned with no structural issues (at least, that's what I'm hoping), so I'll keep it as a Christmas present for my 18-month-old. Though I find it extremely aggravating to buy a product that hasn't been properly inspected, cleaned, or repackaged by the seller. It makes me wonder if there is any harm that I won't notice until my child uses it. I'd like to see vendors pay a little more attention to what they send out when it comes to children's equipment.

Although the blue appears to be purple, it is a fantastic scooter with excellent customer service! First and foremost, Micro Kickboard's customer service is outstanding! In contrast to the T-shirt, the blue scooter's base appeared to be more purple than blue
5/5

(pictured) bar that is more of a true blue. Micro Kickboard quickly sent me a different colored scooter (green, pictured) and a return label for the blue one after I called to see if it was a manufacturing error (it wasn't). I'm sure I could have returned and reordered through Amazon, but they handled it all for me. Not only is the scooter fantastic, but the company is fantastic as well! 5 out of 5 stars for a happy kid and a happy mom.

This scooter is incredible! When I first saw my nieces riding these scooters a few years ago, I was immediately sold
5/5

They're well-made and have a silky ride. I placed my order and never looked back when it came time to get one for my 2-year-old daughter. It took her only a few minutes to get the hang of it, and she was zooming along in no time. These may appear to be a little more expensive than similar products on the market, but you get what you pay for. Material quality is exceptional, as is the construction. Don't put your kids' safety in jeopardy because of a scooter that is poorly designed and has subpar parts. The Micro is without a doubt the best mini scooter on the market - period.
