I was able to install these wheels myself with just a few tools included, and they are also really simple to install. By unscrewing the axle from the old wheels using the two hex keys supplied, you can get new wheels by simply swapping out the old As well as the wheels, the new ones are My ripstick felt like I just bought it brand new from the store after playing it for the first time. In case your wheels need to be replaced, I'd recommend getting a set of these. As a bonus As well as the colors, I love it!.
Despite being old and worn, the wheels fit perfectly on our The original wheels were so worn that we didn't realize how bad they were until they were removed. Rolling with the Ripstik is so much more comfortable and easy than it was.
The wheels are too tall to fit RipSter boards (I ordered the wrong set), so they rub the bottom of the board and are not compatible. However, since RipSter wheels were all crazy expensive, I simply took a razor and shaved until it stopped Rubber is a pretty hard substance, so it took me a while to get results. As soon as I got the wheel to "sorta" spin, I had my daughter stand on the board, and then I kinda jerked her around for 5 minutes until it wore down and smoothed.

I was able to get my order delivered on time, other than ordering the wrong color. A hex key is included with the wheel set for removing the old wheels and replacing them with the new ones. difficult to center so the axle can be threaded through, but installation was rated a 2 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the most difficult).
