Questions & Answers
I don't recall seeing a specific weight limit anywhere on the scooter or in the packaging, but I've used it when weighing between 170 and 165 pounds. It was fine, showing no signs of damage while riding down an asphalt driveway. The caster wheels, in particular, appeared to be extremely durable.
It certainly ought to. Moving the scooter may be more difficult if you have a young child or a new/fluffy berber carpet. It should go pretty fast if the child is 5 or the carpet is old/worn down a lot; older elementary children make the scooters fly, so it's nice to slow them down a bit with carpet. I hope this information is useful.
The height of the wheels 2 inches, I'm guessing.
My casters are made of plastic.

It's a little embarrassing to tell you why I ordered this. But it's perfect! I bought it so I could sit on it and move around while dusting and cleaning my baseboards. I had grown tired of bending over for extended periods of time. Now I can just scoot along the wall on my little scooter! This is fantastic!.
This was recommended by her physical therapist, and she enjoys it! She is 17 years old and weighs 145 pounds. Our downstairs is tiled, but it is a long walk (or in her case, a ride) from the living room to the bathroom. This provided her with some much-needed independence. The casters are powerful, but they never stop swiveling or getting caught. My 11-year-old daughter simply enjoys playing on it, which is fine; however, this scooter has accomplished exactly what it set out to do, as well as providing some Physical Therapy. The scooter, too, arrived in one day, as promised.
Later, I used it to assist me in moving some of my furniture around on my own- IKEA desks and large cube shelves are examples of furniture that I could lift otherwise but are too large or unwieldy for me to lift. It was fantastic for both of us! It was well worth the money. br>br>Also, I'm not going to lie, scooting around on it for fun still brings back memories!.
The one I got was not at all like the one in the photo. Wheels that are completely different.
I didn't realize these things had different kinds of wheels. br>These are not intended for use in the outdoors. I bought them so that the kids could scoot/race down a slightly incline sidewalk, but these indoor light weight plastic wheels will not roll.
They arrived today in a deep blue color rather than yellow, and with a different handle and wheels. The wheels in the photo drew me to these boards, so I bought them. The photo appears to have a metal frame, but the wheels are made of plastic, similar to those found on office chairs. The boards arrived fully assembled and appear to be of good quality.
The wheels on the bus are incorrect. Rubber wheels are depicted in the illustration. If you look at the other scooters available, you'll see what I mean by these being like plastic office chair wheels with a plastic half guard. I'm a wheelchair user who weighs around 170 pounds. I purchased it so that I could move around the basement without using my wheelchair. So far, everything has gone well.
This is fantastic! They're a hit with the kids, and they're great for keeping my autistic son occupied. My only complaint is that it isn't properly advertised. Despite the fact that it clearly states that this is a two-pack with one blue and one yellow scooter board, I only received one. When I called to let them know that I had only received one, they were very gracious and sent me another. However, based on other reviews, it appears that I am not the only one who has experienced this issue, and Amazon should most likely correct their listing.
