I'll update this review once I get the correct size and have had them for a few weeks. The skates themselves are lovely, and I can tell they're of excellent quality, but I ordered the wrong size, so I'm returning the first pair and replacing it with a pair that will fit better. I usually wear a ten-tenth of a size. I ordered a size 9 boot in women's shoes and a size 5 in men's shoes - There was enough room for my foot to slip forward a little when I tried them on and laced them up. But I'm really excited to get my hands on a pair in the right size!
- update- I got the correct size about a week ago and have been skating on them ever since; they're great. The boot was initially stiff, but after about 3-hours of use, it was no longer so. I was actually surprised at how well the wheels that came with these skates did out on my sidewalks considering their smaller size; I didn't have to do much stepping over cracks or debris, and the ride was pretty smooth (I still replaced them with bigger wheels after a few days because there are a few places I go with my dog that are super torn up and it just wasn't comfortable). br>After 4 hours of skating in them, they softened up enough to become quite comfortable and they still offer nice The toestop is the only thing I don't like about it; it leaves skid marks and I tore them up pretty badly on the pavement in the first few days, though they'd still be usable and I was planning on replacing them with a cuter pair of flower shaped ones anyway. br>These are some fantastic skates, and if you're considering purchasing them, I strongly advise you to do so. However, I would recommend purchasing a variety of toestops to go with them; online sellers have a variety of cute options.
In terms of sizing, I wear a size 8 street shoe and a size 9 dress shoe. 5" with socks on. I have six-inch sure grips that are slightly larger than average. So, because these are suede (which will stretch a lot), I decided to go with a 5. Oh my goodness, I'm so happy I did! The fit is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Unfortunately, due to a manufacturing defect in the boot, I had to replace these. The seller goes above and beyond in terms of customer service. I'll get my new skates tomorrow and update this if anything changes, but these skates are fantastic. It is impossible to break the plate. The fit of the boot is fantastic. Apart from the issue with the graphics peeling off, the wheels are fantastic. I'm very pleased!.
PLEASE DO NOT SIZE DOWN IN THESE SKATES. Order a size 8 skate if you are a woman who wears a size 9 shoe. This isn't a case of downsizing. Check the sizing chart. br>br>I normally wear a size 9 shoe, but ordered a size 7 - It was a lot smaller than I expected. I then went up to a size 8 and it fits perfectly. br>br>Awesome skate thus far, highly recommend.
Women's shoe with a 5W designation. First and foremost, I decided to take the advice of previous reviewers and use the manufacturer's sizing chart with actual foot measurements instead of converting my usual size to men's sizing. I usually wear a size 6 shoe. Women's shoes with a width of 5 inches. I drew an outline of both of my feet on white paper while wearing thick socks, then measured the length and width of my feet in centimeters. Then I looked at the chart and realized that if I went with SZ6 Men's, I'd have a fraction of an inch extra. Each skate's boot is well-fitting. It shouldn't be too tight, but it also shouldn't be too loose. They are EXACTLY what I was looking for. br>br>I ordered a size 6 Men's (listed as 6 Men's / 7 Women's) and it fit perfectly. br>br>The skates themselves are a beautiful Lime Green that reminds me of the Volkswagen Turbonium Beetle. That hazy, frosted lime color is gorgeous! The suede material that the boots are made of is incredible. The quality of the materials appears to be excellent. quality, though I would upgrade to metal skate plates and trucks, as well as upgrade the wheels, next time. **CORRECTED to reflect the most recent information: After playing around with the default wheels for a while, I don't think any upgrades are necessary, and the current base is fine; however, the metal trucks are a little more flashy, so I'll upgrade them eventually. The skates, on the other hand, are ready to use right away. br>br>I bought a pair of Sure-Fit shoes. Grip Toe Jammers (toe caps) to protect the beautiful leather on the front edge of the skates, which fit perfectly and don't stand out as much as the suede toe caps.
I'd give it a 0 out of 5 star rating if I had the option. They didn't have a hole with them when they arrived. Each skate had a crooked tongue. There is an error in the size chart. I also have to cover the cost of sending them their belongings. There is a skate shortage, so they are rushing to produce skates with poor quality control. It's not the distributor's fault (Eastern Skate Supply), but They clench their hands. a score of 0 out of 10 After waiting for these to arrive and being extremely disappointed, I no longer have skates.
The package arrived quickly and in its original packaging. These are incredible skates! Smooth and pleasant to the touch. I'm a 7-year-old girl. I'm a size 6 and they're perfect for me. Lavender is a beautiful flower:.
In comparison to the Moxi Beach Bunny, these are very light. I've been having a lot of trouble finding skates that are the right size for me. Because I have a wide foot, I usually wear bigger shoes, which is not a good idea. Even with insoles, I can feel my foot sliding in the size 9 (women's 10) beach bunnies. br>br>I only tried on the left sure grip boot, and I didn't even roll around to try them on because they were way too big and I knew I'd have to return them. br>br>I included photos to show how a size 9 (women's 10) Moxi Beach Bunny compares to a size 8 (women's 9) Sure Grip. br>br>I can't comment on the performance yet because I ordered a smaller size, but I'm looking forward to trying them out.
The first pair was way too big, so I went by another pair of roller skates I have, which I had to return. . . the second pair, I went by their sizing chart, which should have been perfect because I measured my foot and everything. No way, it's way too tense! This pair is in the middle, and while they feel snug and tight, I'm hoping they'll stretch out based on the reviews. . . I'm a woman's size 9. I bought the woman's 9 and it seems to be the right size, assuming they'll stretch a little. . . their sizing chart was not accurate for me at all. . . so I hope this helps. . . you'd think for the price you'd get a skate key but nope. Even the most budget-friendly brands include a basic skate key!.
