I just want to make sure of your shaft size. Before ordering bearings, most quad skates are 8 mm, but there are many 7 mm as well, since that is the axle shaft size. You can determine the shaft size by looking at An 8mm bearing will be indicated by a 9/32" nut. An 8mm bearing will be indicated by a 5/16" nut. That's all I have for now. I hope

Initially, I didn't realize that my wheels kept hitting rocks and cracks (duh) after skating outside with my rink wheels (due to the pandemic). Finally I had the chance to try out these outdoor wheels and I must say I was impressed with their quality. I can't believe how good they are! The wheels are easily able to handle cracks in the asphalt and rough patches. Since I bought Rollerbones precision skate bearings, I have never been able to skate outdoors so smoothly. Buying a pack with only four wheels won't suffice, so make sure to purchase two. This is a great purchase that you won't regret!.
To go with the new Chicago skates my husband bought me for Christmas, I bought these wheels. My perception of the differences started as soon as I switched from the original wheels to these bonts. The skater I am is a beginner. It is easy to maneuver in asphalt, as it is smooth and very smooth. This is an excellent product that is made in the United States. The purchase price is also good. Here are some wheels that I recommend.
In a nutshell My Impala roller skates are a new acquisition (just a few months old). In the past, I have skated outside at a former ice rink A tennis court that has lots of texture and cracks. There was nothing wrong with the wheels that came with the Impalas, but it was still As a result of switching over to these wheels, my ride is faster, smoother, and more comfortable. It was my first time switching out my wheels. I also changed my bearing as well (to Rollerbones). These Bont wheels helped me upgrade my skates, and I'm so glad I did. There was a great need for it and it was affordable.
I love the colors. The bearings are not included in these so make sure to get them separately. I would buy again if the price was right.
I have only one criticism of the wheels they seem to be extremely slippery, and I've fallen three times and suffered elbow and wrist injuries, whereas the other original wheels are impossible to fall from. The ABE 7 bearings are proving easier to roll now that they are installed.
I got them for my skates and they're so great! It's so much more enjoyable to skate outside when it's warm.
Since I haven't skated outdoors in a while, I am not able to compare these wheels to others. The outdoor (roller)hockey rink where I've been using them is quite smooth, though I have to wonder if perhaps the compounds are too soft and maybe I should have purchased a harder compound for this surface, since it would certainly make the skates It won't be until I have to order a new set that I will know for sure. It took some of them a long time to insert the bearings, so make sure that the bearing is seated all the way in, otherwise your nut won't tighten properly even if it appears to be in place. There is a bit of variation and some of the hubs are a bit more difficult to install, so it is not a flaw with the wheel per se. Most likely, all wheels work the same way.
