However, you do not have to use the wheels. In the beginning, these were just flat skateboard wheels. Having said that, these skates are quite There is a community of freeskaters who use straps, mainly bowl skaters, you can hop into any ramp and do crazy tricks with straps. Straps are definitely harder to figure out than strapless, but can be done. It is important to make no mistakes when using straps, or you will slam fairly easily. The skates themselves are good though the wheels, however, are hilariously soft, so it's best to try to get better wheels as soon as you can. As such, these wheels are easier for beginners because the bottom is flat, which helps beginners balance. It is best to switch to better wheels as soon as you start pumping, since the skates will be easier to ride when you do that.
I know, I know, I explained a lot, but a lot of people just give up. pretty difficult, but you have to practice atleast an hour a day for atleast two weeks before quitting. It takes someone a few days to two weeks to get the hang of them.
You really need the practice to keep going, but the grip tape is decent quality for a product that costs forty dollars. I'd like to use these to travel to work during the summer rather than carrying a whole board, so small things like these are ideal for that purpose.
I was somewhat disappointed that the board started to warp after a month. In my opinion, you should not buy if you want to ride it frequently.
