Product Description

PERFORMANCE METALLIC LACE: Sold in a set of two. With hardened plastic tips, the lace is flat and about 3/8 inch (9 mm) wide. You can choose from a variety of lengths. When you tighten SPARK by Derby Laces, they create natural friction, which helps them stay tied, tight, and where you want them.

APPROPRIATE FOR: BOTH CHILDREN AND ADULTS. Shoes, skates, boots, hockey, and roller derby are all examples of regular footwear.

SPARK by Derby Laces comes with a hardened plastic tip that is extremely durable.

SPARK by Derby Laces are braided laces made of durable fibers with a metallic coating. They have a special texture that makes it easy to tighten and loosen them.

Questions & Answers

Is it true that these have been waxed?

These aren't waxed, but they are metallic. The metallic threads create a natural friction that is similar to waxed, allowing them to stay tied and provide good grip. We also offer two waxed laces lines, both of which are non-metallic. Metallic threads do not absorb wax and do not need to be re-waxed.

Do they appear to be predominantly pink in color?

I'd probably go with pink. gold. Because my laces are on a pair of gold Converse, the gold color pops even more. It's a lovely pair of lace. I hope this has been of assistance.

They're sparkly and keep my boots firmly in place! So far, everything has gone well! I inquired about the "standard" length listed on the page but received no response, so I purchased the 54" ones instead

I'm dressed in a low-cut roller derby t-shirt. They're long enough to tie in a bow, but not so long that they dangle all over the place. They're incredibly sparkly and adorable, and when tied, they appear to have a strong grip. During my skating, I've noticed no loosening.

I got the Mirage for her and the black spark for myself. EDIT: br>br> During the last few months, I've tested four different pairs of spark laces. I've decided that these are best suited for occasional use. After three months of regular street skating (nothing too strenuous), mine have frayed. Even after all these years, the ones I've used on shoes and boots look fantastic. These don't appear to be designed for long-term use. I'd save them for special occasions or photo shoots rather than using them on a regular basis. I'm going to try their regular laces to see if they're any better.

These laces come in a lot of different colors and patterns. Because of the sparkly nature of the materials, this was the only pair that didn't last very long. All of my skating is done outside, and I have to tighten my laces. I'm not sure if that's why they started unraveling at the tie point and eyelet holes so quickly. With that said, I firmly believe in and enjoy the derby laces product, and I will continue to buy them (I enjoy mixing and matching my colors), though I will opt for the non-sparkly laces instead.

For my skates, it's a great color with a lot of functionality! I have a pair of Moxi Beach Bunny skates that come with ridiculously long laces as standard

I was ecstatic to get new ones, and they've made such a difference! Because these skates were shorter than my previous pair, I was able to put them on and take them off much more quickly and easily. The material is a little rougher than I expected, but they stay pretty tight, which I like, and the color is so bright and cheerful that it makes me happy!.

They're tough, but most importantly, they're gleaming and sparkly! br>The package made my daughter very happy, so I decided to weite. br>Along with this small purchase, there were stickers and a few other surprises. br>It was a fantastic purchase. I plan to purchase more in the future.

My all-black skates really bring out the colors. Definitely worth the money and shipping time! For my Vans, I'm considering repurchasing the same laces. I plan to purchase additional colors and write a review as soon as possible.

The 60" laces were originally ordered, but they were just a smidgeon too short for my 11 eyelet Riedells. I reordered the 72" and they fit perfectly, without being too long. I don't have to double knot them like a six-year-old because they have excellent grip. I kept the 60" and wore them to work. They've received a lot of positive feedback. On the laces of your shoes!.

Super glitzy, solid, and safe

They're sturdy, stay in place, and have just enough give to be flexible and move around. These lace tassels are made with great care and attention to detail. Although they do not appear to be fragile, jagged eyelets could cause them to break. Because my eyelets are in good shape, the laces are able to glide through and fit perfectly.
