It turns out these ones are the ones I was looking for. I had never heard of Derby Laces before, but after seeing their rainbow lace design, I'm never going back to any other brand. Oh, and when you tie those suckers, they do what you say. Not at all. Make a move. Double knotting my old laces used to be a necessity for me. These have never had to be double knotted before! Getting new laces after mine broke was almost like getting a makeover, but it totally made a difference! I realized how tight my boots had to be to feel secure. These bags are quite durable (they are thick! A beautiful colored chain), long and very long! When I wear my black boots and toe-capped boots, I look like this The rainbow speckles on the guards add a nice splash of color, and I'm really pleased with it. I think even upgrading your laces will make a great deal of difference if you are like me and just didn't think they'd be able to make a difference. I am sure you are already searching for laces since you are reading a review on them now. But these are worth the money. The lacing I will be using in the future will be Derby Laces.
It is durable, thick, and sturdy. The laces are A-1. It's like shoelaces. I bought other laces and they're too thin. Exactly what I was looking for - the even texture and color of these. If you pick the wrong size, you'll be left out of the fun. I ordered twice because I picked the wrong size and they ended up.
The black base with the rainbow woven in is appealing to me. As a result, they are so almost professional, like a subtle rainbow. It was the 72 inch size of the 8 hole Docs that I bought. Due to my narrow feet and my preference for tight fitting shoes, much of the bow in my boots hangs loose. Despite this, I can loosen them without actually removing the lace from the holes, so it's a perfect fit for me. This way, they stay tied neatly and they look fantastic.
I purchased these to keep my child's hockey skates in good condition. A good job seems to have been done on them. The ties appear to be in good shape. These laces are a little narrower than regular hockey laces, but with my kid's tiny youth skates, this will not matter. I've included a picture for comparison to show the difference between the lace in my skates and the factory lace.
During the derby minimum skills testing, I opened up a set a day or two before it was finished, so the kit only lasted two practices after constant knee tapping. They sent me a replacement pair of laces promptly after I emailed them the email that came with the laces. Since then, I have used that set without a single issue. It is great to be able to adjust the tightness of every lace hole because the wax helps keep.
The Moxi Beach Bunny skates are a favorite of mine and I am so thrilled to have the experience of changing out the original pink laces for these amazing black and rainbow laces to match the It turned out I bought the wrong size when I purchased them. The Moxi boot is pretty short for 72". Moreover, they have thicker laces than my boots, which makes lacing and unlacing them really difficult. My quad skate boot is too thick and too short for these skates, which might be okay for a derby skate.
This is a great pair of laces that won't fall out and look great. The next set of inlines I order will be for my feet.
