These roller blades have been in my daughter's possession for about a year and they are a fantastic choice. Already she was forced to go up a size, and these fit easily She should easily be able to wear them until she grows out of them in another year or two. Over the last few months, I have used these skates almost every day. They seem to hold up quite well on the concrete and asphalt, and are reasonably comfortable for the kid as well as easy to put on and take The upper parts might have been annoying over time, but the kid is delighted with them, so I understand. I tried them myself (on the largest setting), and I find the upper parts a little irritating. Kids wear the smallest setting (size 2) at this time It's possible that this brake will wear out before these, but overall, they seem quite durable. If we use them until the foot fits the largest setting (size 5), the brake will probably wear out before them. Buying them again would be a good idea.
