It is urethane wheels that are illuminated as they spin, as they have less built into them.
It would make sense to go with the youth size if you are buying youth clothing.
The street was full of these skates as my grandkids skated. It is impossible to walk on the sidewalks here. are able to use it without problems
There is only one way to get rid of the lights, which is by replacing the wheel with one that does not illuminate.

The white/black combination really makes them stand out. They are a great looking inline skate that is decent for man and woman (we have 2 older girls and 2 younger boys and planned on passing these down when they are no longer needed). As a result, there is no inherent stability in this skate due to its construction It is impossible to keep your ankles upright if you don't try (hard!) to keep them upright, increasing the risk of rolling outward. We both felt unsteady and our ankles were not well supported in these compared to my own pair of Rollerblades, which it provides infinitely more stability and support. It really took the fun out of skating and my daughters have not been interested in using them since they first tried them. Our first pair of sunglasses was never opened the second pair was never removed from the box It is our intention to return those and look into the return policy for the used pair as well. Because these were specifically marketed as stable products, our expectations were pretty low.
A current Amazon warehouse deal made it possible for me to purchase "used" shoes. The only damage to the box was the fact that they were brand new. In addition to a glow in the dark dance party (a skate party for her), we taped glow sticks to the kids' hands. Trying your new light-up rollerblades is a great way to get a feel for them!.
Due to the fact that they can be adjusted easily to any shoe size, the skates fit well. (With zero skate experience) the child managed to stand up and start her skating career on these skates. The masks are easy to put on, but they do appear to work as described. As of today, the LEDs appear to work well and are reasonably bright.
