Selected User Reviews For BSB ABEC 7 Bearings (16 Pack)
A BSB is an acronym for "Boss Swiss Bearings". An ABEC rating is neither a requirement nor a characteristic of BSB high speed bearings, so be wary of any bearing marketed with an ABEC rating. The BSB speed bearings I have been using on my blades for many many years are still FLYING like the wind, requiring little to no oil and little maintenance. Even though I take good care of my bearings, I last serviced them 20 years ago (since I don't skate regularly anymore, as I used to), and I've not serviced them since then. If I do, I use solvent to clean them, let them dry, then I use some compressed air, and I add a drop or two of BSB High Speed Bearing Oil that I still have in my Since the oil is old, it smells bad and has a reddish hue to it, whereas it was clear to begin with. Despite this, it is still faster than "bones speed CREAM". It's over hyped brand saturation, as is their bearings, that's all. If you're looking for ultimate speed, forget that over hyped brand saturation. We guarantee you will never find a bearing that performs better, faster, or has a higher quality than BSB Swiss Bones labels theirs "swiss", but those who have tried to keep up with me using anything "bones" have been left in the dust of their own inferior oversaturated name brands.
