I put my clothes in the dryer after washing them on cool. They don't get any smaller.
These socks are silky smooth and extremely comfortable for me.
I found these socks to be far too warm for me. Only once did I use them. It's possible that I'm the only one who notices this. The sizing was fairly accurate; however, if you prefer a looser fit, I recommend going up a size.
There is something wrong with the size chart. I wear a size 12 shoe and ordered a large that fits up to a size 11. There are five of them, and they're all excessively long.

The other pair I purchased were fantastic. These were the same size as the other mediums, so I ordered the size the chart recommended, but the heel had to be up past my own heel on the back of my foot because they were larger than the other mediums. Because their shoes were too big, they continued walking down the street, leaving material past my toes. The worst part was that they weren't the same size; one was bigger than the other, and one, only one, was made wonky with points on the sides near the toes that bunched up when you put on a shoe.
This sock was a huge let down for me. The space between the toes was unusually/uncomfortably large. Their "boot" sock only reaches about halfway up my calf before slipping down. I ordered the small because my size was halfway between small and medium. I strongly advise choosing the smaller size; why does it seem like no one makes a sock worth buying? I used to like a particular brand, but the quality of their products has deteriorated significantly; The sizes are all off, and they wear out in a matter of months, despite the fact that they are supposed to be guaranteed for life (I'm not sure how they can claim that). br>These Darn Tough socks didn't work for me, but they might for someone else with a different foot shape and no calves.
These were my hiking shoes as I climbed Mt. I wore them for about nine hours straight in Washington, New Hampshire. There was no extra sweating, chaffing, rubbing, bunching, or anything like that. 5 feet. I've been looking for a good pair of boot socks for my small size 4-inch feet. I've been looking for these 5 feet for a long time and am thrilled to have finally found them. The Small is the perfect size- Instead of being halfway up my ankle, the heel is right where it should be! They also keep their position on my smaller calves. The fabric isn't too thick to be bulky inside shoes, and it does an excellent job of keeping my feet dry and warm. I've had them on for three full days of walking and they've held up admirably.

However, you must exercise caution when it comes to sizing. I wear a size 7 shoe, and the small socks are just big enough for me. Order a size larger than you think you'll need, and they'll fit perfectly after just one wash. Every time I put them on, it's like putting on a new pair of socks. They also keep my feet warm and dry, so I don't have to worry about sweating. With Darn Tough socks, you can't go wrong. I've never had to use their lifetime guarantee, but it's nice to know it's there if I need it.
This is a fantastic organization to work for. I've made room in my sock drawer for an entire line of these socks. Just to add some color variation, there are men's and women's versions. However, it's fantastic. I haven't been able to wear one down to the point where it needs to be replaced. Please exercise caution. They're akin to body piercings. One pair should be purchased. You'll also be purchasing a drawer's worth!.
