There are a lot of them. The boots are comfortable for hiking at any time of year. On the other hand, I don't have any problems with my feet getting too hot while hiking. Choosing something thinner would be a good solution if you are worried that they would become too hot.

A group of friends and my boyfriend were about to get on a shuttle in order to go on a hike in Colorado when I found myself in the situation described above. Although I have not put these shoes to the test yet, I expect that they will provide comfortable walking. Darn Tough is the only brand I wear, so I'm pretty certain they'll perform just fine. Is it expensive? In short, yes. What is the value of the experience? In short, yes.
Despite the fact that socks are thick, they still do not feel too heavy. Those socks are comfortable, but they do shrink a little after washing them, like other Darn Tough socks I have purchased.

I am super happy with how well they hold up. These socks are by far my favorite because I hike a few miles every day in the hills around my home. Spending money on cheap ones that won't last is no longer an option for me.
