These are a size Large for me. Nine and a half inches are the measurement of the front rise between the crotch seam and the bottom of the waistband. 11 inches are measured from the top of the waistband to the top of the rise. It doesn't seem likely to me. Despite the thin material, the pants are pretty comfortable. The summer is the best time to hike there.

Is it possible to breathe through the fabric? It is always a worry for me to use ?

Walking tends to dry these pants relatively quickly, which is the sort of thing I wear for walking. Despite the fabric being heavier than some of my other athletic capris, I feel comfortable when the weather is in the 80's. A bit of wrinkles appear after washing, but not so much that they must be ironed, so they still look good to me.

The size runs a little big

The zipper pockets and the fit of these pants are great. This is the perfect size for passports. The xxl was the right size for me, as I'm a 16 or a 18. The size is too large. It was perfect fit since I ordered an xl. The height and weight of me are 5'4" and 230 lbs.

I wear a size The size 14 jeans are available in a variety of sizes. The size is in the middle of a large and a XL. To evaluate the fit, I ordered two larges and two XLs. I will send back one or the other based on its fit. I found the XL to be very roomy and not too large. Thankfully the larger size fit as well, just a little slimmer and less full than the medium. Therefore, I decided to keep them both and wear the large when going out during the day with a nice t-shirt. I think they will look great for casual If I need the extra room, I can take the XL for hiking, walks on the beach, and yard work. We haven't washed them yet, but they look like they would do well in the wash. It is lightweight yet substantial enough to look good on summer days, and will hopefully be cool enough to wear even in hot weather. It was a pleasure to buy both sizes and I am glad I got them as they serve different purposes. It's probably a good idea to order more.

They resemble pants from the Columbia brand because they're light and Due to the fact that I live in Florida, I will purchase more pairs in different colors so that I can wear them all They are perfect for golf and they have plenty of pockets for balls, tees, golf gloves, and so forth. But I will also use them as clothing for the rest of my life.

Lots of pockets with zippers, and an easy way to pull them up is by the elastics at the bottom. My usual size is 4, but I'm considering going up to an 8 Although I do not want my hiking pants to be too tight, I do not want to swim in them, either. I would say that the XS is a bit tight around the waist, but nothing too uncomfortable, and the rest of the pant is very comfortable.

I wouldn't describe these as stylish, but I don't wear them with In addition to repelling water, snagging brush, sweeping mud away easily, and bending and scrambling over obstacles, they are stretchy and don't catching when you bend.

I don't understand how the crotch reaches the ground

Walking isn't the best use of them. Its crotch hangs much too long for lifting your legs or climbing, so it is not suitable for this purpose. There are some people who would be OK with this if they are slim and have straight hips. Curvy athletic types might not be able to wear this. It was okay in terms of fabric quality.

I ordered several of these pants in a large, in both the long and capri lengths. It fitted only one with an additional little bit of room It was perfect. The other four had to be returned because they were all a bit tight. Obviously, quality control varies from one company to another.

This is the best choice for calves who are smaller

My pants were a bit tight around the calves and a bit baggy around the crotch (I am 5'6", 125 lbs. Approximately 130 pounds).
