Yes, upf 50 is written on the tag.
They are the ideal length for my legs, which are quite long.
They appear to be worn as capris because the drawstrings at the ankles are pulled up. I also own the capris, which have a drawstring that does not stay in place, but I still adore both the pants and the capris.

) I went to the nonwe website to check out the quality of the items, but I couldn't get around it; it wouldn't even load a single shopping category. Needless to say, I was extremely dissatisfied and will not be returning.
They're fantastic; they're incredibly soft and stretchy, and they're extremely comfortable. I tend to sweat a lot, especially when hiking, so I usually wear shorts, but I wanted the added bug and sun protection that pants provide. I was concerned that wearing pants would make me even hotter, but they worked perfectly. They breathe well and dry quickly; you'd never guess I'd been sweating in them after 30 minutes on the trail. They fit a little tighter than the identical Aphrodite capris for some reason, so order a size up. The XL should have fit me fine, and I could put them on, but I had to return them for the XXL because I needed more freedom of movement and comfort. They were perfect! If you're doing really rugged hikes through thick brush, they might not hold up as well as they should because they're thinner, but for well-groomed trails in warm weather, they're fantastic.
These are the most flattering pants for curvy women! I couldn't believe it because I'd previously tried The North Face and they didn't have any pants options for girls who had a trunk full of stuff. These, on the other hand, fit perfectly and are extremely well-made! I knew I'd love them as soon as I tried them on, so I ordered another pair right away! All seams are strong and reinforced. Perfect for people who live large lives and don't want to worry about their pants bursting at the seams if they squat or stoop down on a hike. I would have given it 5 stars, but, like others have said, I only noticed yesterday that they are already pilling and snagging. I'm devastated because I've only worn them two times. At a family gathering, I propped my knee against a wooden picnic table three times. I'm concerned about how they'll appear after some strenuous hiking. I'm doubly disappointed because I had hoped to wear these as work pants as well! It's possible I'll have to buy a new pair of shoes just for work. I'm also 5 months pregnant, and the waistband is essential for a pregnant woman.
I bought these pants expecting them to be too big. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are extremely comfortable and ideal for hiking. They're so light and flexible that I'd like to wear them every day if I could. I also purchased the pant in a capri length.
I wore them while hiking in Sumatra's sweltering jungles and, more recently, Death Valley. It's light, stretchy, and dries quickly. the ideal pair of trousers.
as well as a novel in paperback Unfortunately, things have a habit of slipping out of your pocket as you pull them down to use the restroom. You, ladies, are well aware of the difficulties. Thankfully, I discovered an equally large ZIPPERED POCKET on the right side, which is incredible! br>br>The material is light, so it doesn't make me sweat, and it dries quickly (perfect for washing in the sink). The cut is flattering, and the ruching on the leg sides is adorable - I believe it gives them a more casual appearance. br>br>I'm 5'9" and 160 pounds, with wide hips and a 32-inch waist. The size and length of L were ideal.
However, I needed the petite length, and the petite, like many other pants, runs a little smaller all around than the regular length (which I find irritating). 5'5" isn't particularly short, and a medium should remain a medium with a shorter inseam. However, the petite inseam is spot on (probably around a 30', as that's what I usually wear in flats) and the pants are extremely comfortable. The fit is nice, but I wish there was a little more room in the thigh area. Although the material is thin and works well in warm/humid climates, it does not feel rugged, as other reviewers have mentioned. br>Thus far, everything has gone well, and I've decided to keep them.
It's so light. This pair of pants is fantastic. So much lighter, more comfortable, and softer than the majority of these types of pants. There's also no sound of "swishing. " yay! However, they run a full size larger than the size chart and are absurdly long on me. Even the smaller sizes in "regular" length go past the bottoms of my hiking shoes, and I'm 5'6" tall. Because of the drawstring hem, hemming is not possible. I also don't like how they look when the drawstring is pulled tight. They resemble cheap large-leg sweatpants with elastic ankles when they're this long. I've looked everywhere for the smaller size in a "short" version, but haven't been successful. The North Face's website, too, is sold out.
