Questions & Answers
The pants have a snap type button as well as a drawstring, which is better than I expected. I'm not a big fan of drawstrings, but this one is hidden inside the waistband and isn't as obnoxious as others. These are pants that I strongly recommend. They're new to me and I'm already wearing them all the time because they keep their shape while allowing for some stretch. It is neither too thick nor too thin, and it effectively blocks wind.
Seafoam is the color in this picture. Black is the color of the pant. It is incorrectly described.
The inseam on my pair is 30 inches. An ankle pull cord is available as an option. I'm 5'1". Short-length workout pants have proven to be difficult to come by. These are exactly what I was looking for and of excellent quality. They are also available in a capri style.
It's more tan or khaki in color.

The fit is true to size, and the garment is also extremely comfortable. I bought these for a trip to Alaska in August, where it was mostly rainy and these pants dried quickly. The material was thinner, but it kept me warm in the 50s and 60s.
This is the last pair of Columbia pants I'll ever buy. This pant model was purchased many years ago, and I still wear it on a daily basis. The fabric is extremely durable. I've put those pants through every type of outdoor activity you can think of. Unfortunately, Columbia's current fabric is by far the worst active wear material I've ever worn. All of my clothes are washed according to the manufacturer's instructions, and these pants pilled after just one wash. The material on the outside of the crotch appears to be that of low-cost underwear. Very let down.
I haven't yet traveled with these, but I am looking forward to it. I needed something to wear on long flights because jeans get uncomfortable after a while and I'm not a fan of leggings as pants. This is the ideal happy-medium situation. br>br>These are thin and soft. ish, but I'm not worried about getting cold. They were wrinkled when they arrived, but after hanging them up for a while, the wrinkles completely disappeared. In terms of sizing, I'm 5'6", 118 pounds, 32/24/37, and the size 2 is perfect for me. I have a couple of extra inches of length that I don't need, but I'd rather have that than be too short. I'll probably use the drawstring on the inside, but pulling it too tight will pucker the pants, which looks odd and poke you with the tie. The fact that there is only one small pocket on the left leg is the biggest disadvantage for me. I included a photo of my wallet to show you how big or small it is. I wish these had hip pockets like regular pants, but I bought them knowing they didn't, so that's my fault, and I'd still recommend them!.
I really like the way these Columbia pants look. The two-way stretch and superlight fabric make them extremely comfortable to wear, making them ideal for travel, hiking, and/or running errands, as well as providing some flexibility if you don't have a model's figure. A stretch drawstring, as well as a zipper and snap, are included on the inside of the waist for customizing the fit. The regular length was perfect for me at 5'8" - a smidgeon of fabric to cover the top of a shoe When the pant leg is laid flat, the bottom opening measures just under 8". On the left leg, there's a 5" zippered vertical side pocket. A mesh material is used to line the pocket. I can just about fit my Samsung phone in it, as well as my car keys - Because the material is so light, too much weight in the pocket will cause it to sag. It's more of a fashion statement than anything practical. The material's stretch causes the pants to loosen up slightly as you wear them, but not excessively. The word "Columbia" is embroidered in white thread on the back top left leg, just beneath the waistband, but it is barely visible. I have not put them in the dryer, so there is no color fade on the black or sizing issues after many washes. My usual size was ordered, and they were a good fit. If you prefer a more fashionable tight fit, you might want to go down a size. Overall, this is a fantastic casual pant for spring and summer. They are far too light for the winter months.
These fit great on me, a 5'2" 125 pound athlete. I got a 4P, which means I won't have to hem them. The drawstring is a must-have because it is stretchy. My only gripe is that there is only one pocket on the right thigh, which is too small to hold my iPhone 8plus. The material is very light, and if worn too tightly, it may show skin imperfections. I've had mine for a little over four months and have worn them at least once a week without any pilling. I don't wash them on delicate, but I do pull them out before drying because they are so light that they dry quickly on the counter even in humid Texas. br>I'm making a correction to my previous review. I've had these for about 5 months and have worn them maybe 7 times. I washed them on cold and air dried them. The crotch seam splits four ways. This is disappointing because the other two pairs were so comfortable that I continued to wear them until the fabric pilled and lost its structure. I'm not going to buy any more of these. I expect them to last at least 5 months or a dozen washes for the price.
So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. I bought these for a upcoming vacation and have only worn them once, but I'm pleased with the fit and comfort. I normally wear a size 18 and purchased that size. There's a lot of stretch and give to this without being baggy. I'm hoping for a lightweight fabric that will pack well and be comfortable enough to do a lot of walking in. I haven't washed them yet, but they should not shrink if washed on cold with a low dryer temperature. I'm just under 5'4" tall, and the length was perfect for me- Basically, everything is the same as it appears in the photo. It's difficult for us plus-sized people. size of a pear I'm very pleased with these pants because it's difficult for women of my shape to find comfortable pants and shorts for walking and hiking. Before my trip, I'm thinking about getting another pair.
Obviously, I do, or I would not keep. I have/had three pairs of these, and I adore them all. I obviously do, because I wouldn't keep buying them if I didn't. I like the fit because it's very flattering, and the material is light and water-resistant to some extent. The drawstring is also convenient because these pants stretch a little throughout the day, and it ensures that you don't show off anything extra when you squat down to pick something up! They're quick to dry and easy to transport. If I dress up the rest of my outfit, I can wear them to the gym, the mall, and to work. I don't recommend drying them because they seem to last longer, but they do dry quickly. My only gripes are that they easily pick up lint/pet hair, and if you sweat between your thighs, the material will pill, especially if you're like me and rub your thighs together. However, I've discovered that this only happens when I'm sweating and walking a lot. br>br>Of all the Columbia pants I've tried with similar styling and functionality, these are the most comfortable and fit the best.
